INFJs, do you thrive at social networking?

I find that I am pretty good at it for an introvert. I am generally consistent in my habit of leaving others, especially those in a position to collaborate with me in the future, with positive impressions of my character and my general intentions. I read that INFJs are supposed to be really good at this: at allowing themselves to be in the position of acquiring help from powerful people. I wouldn't say that I go out of my way to make powerful friends, but I'm realistic about what others can do for me, the potential of a single individual and how I can benefit others in return for their helping me. I'm particularly good at making people I haven't spoken to in years feel as if we're as close as we ever were and all that jazz. I'm not sure where I picked it all up--I blame my iNtuition. ;)

I am good at it, and I usually get what I want (professionally) because of that. Here's a little anecdote that illustrates what not to do though:

A couple years ago I made the mistake of posting under my real name on a forum though. An acquaintance who was staying with me decided to pull a lame prank which pretty much consisted of trolling me on that forum (from my own IP address no less, as he was on my laptop), and since he used my name in a thread title to draw my attention that thread is now forever on the first page of search results when you google my name. So learn from my mistake: never use your real name online, even if you think there's no possible way you could end up looking like an ass in that environment.
