Tell me your thoughts, this is my first draft but I'm really resonating with this.
There's no point. Why not get it over with and spare myself this droll?
That isn't a very fair assessment, there is quite a bit to achieve and impact.
And quite a bit more will be washed away in time.
All things come to pass, but that is not reason enough to forsake the present.
What is worth living for in the present? It is a mere instance.
Experiences, human connection and intimacy, as well as the beauty of nature fill the current moment with enough to occupy yourself with.
All of these are bound by the corporeal and bland. Their rudiment is chemicals firing off inside a wet organ sitting atop a blood and bone filled cage of flesh.
There is a spiritual realm beyond tangible reality; it is intrinsically connected to all.
And what a tease it is to have our imprisoned Souls claw away at our insides, longing to reach Truth! All the more reason to tip the scales and end the stalemate.
You don't deserve Truth, considering the state you are in. The very flesh you curse binds you to the present for a reason.
Oh, this? I don't yet deserve Truth? I haven't suffered enough?
No, it's nothing so banal. Truth is omniscient; this prison is purposeful. There is a plan.
How do we know this? Truth is objective, therefore neutral. This would suggest a lack of interference in our affairs; where would a plan come into play?
Do not confuse objectivity and passive neutrality. Truth knows implicitly and acts without bias.
You speak with great confidence for a man who has no concrete or direct experience with the metaphysical.
And you, who desire freedom of spirit from that which is direct and concrete in nature, will criticize my faith to the unseen?
Your faith could very well be a delusional misinterpretation of Truth, who is to trust?
Your doubtful nature is rooted in physical reality. It is no wonder why humanity is limited to the flesh. We cannot fully comprehend this spiritual realm outside of our own without using the impaired tools of observation and analysis from our poor physical present.
We have no other course of action! Truth placed us in this realm with these tools, how could he ever expect us to transcend?
He does let us transcend, when the time is right.
What decides my time? Why not remove the cage of flesh from the equation? Would this not show my devotion to the unseen, my utmost desire?
It would evidence your devotion to weak cowardice.
How could that be? My spirit would be freed from its very weakness!
You deny the power of the Soul by killing his opponent for him. It is the responsibility of the Soul to master its limits within imprisonment. It is a great undertaking; many will not succeed.
All can succeed if they are willing to take matters into their own hands. The Soul need not master its limits; he may reach unbridled potential in freedom.
You deny the Soul all of his potential in the removal of the flesh. There is no struggle beyond the corporeal; we struggle in this realm to strengthen ourselves for the next.
You cannot claim to know such things! You yourself claimed that we cannot comprehend the the spiritual realm. Is it not possible that there exists struggle and growth in the next era of existence?
. . .
Your certainty falters.
I acknowledge the paradoxical nature of Truth and his workings. Our meager tools can find many incongruities within our understanding of the spiritual realm.
So you admit your fallacy!
I do not. The very fact that you stand here with a zest for understanding our circumstances signifies a growing Soul thirsting for Truth. You would not have such fervor for these sorts of discussions if you were not inherently spiritual in nature. You have a proclivity towards seeking transcendence. That does not appear without a divine source of inspiration, something placed within all of our Souls by Truth.
Nonsense! I can ask questions without a source from beyond this realm!
You are not questioning, you are projecting. You originally stated that your soul wished to escape its cage under the pretenses that you are a spiritually inclined being. You stand before me now with a lack of faith and a bitter heart towards Truth and where he resides. And you ask why your Soul is not ready to be freed? You even wish to take that responsibility away from him?
I have not the patience for this drivel! I am connected to my Soul, I may decide for him and his freedom!
You have not the right nor the power to truly free him. If you decide to free your Soul before Truth has planned, you will be rejecting the very core of the realm you seek.
I need not the realm of Truth! My Soul may go where he pleases, he may create a new realm of his own!
You would then control your Soul and limit it much in the same way as your flesh, would you not?
When I am master, nothing will have limits. I can decide more fruitfully than this cage.
You are imprisoned for this very purpose. Without limits on your Soul, you believe yourself to be Truth.
Who is to say I am not? We have no full comprehension of the spiritual realm. We may all very well be Truth, if he is to reside in us all as you claim.
You make dangerous assumptions for the sake of your own selfishness. Do you not understand that this nature is of the flesh? How can you claim to be ready for freedom?
The flesh has no hold over my behavior! It is nothing, a meager trifle to my Soul's power! I can dispose of it any time I wish.
Do not toy with the prison. I implore you to see the Truth within what I have expressed.
You wish of me to hold onto your beliefs not because they signify Truth, but because they allow you an ignorant peace of mind.
You wound me. This is not what I intend; please reconsider.
I am decided. I will be limited no more, this prison will dissolve into the earth as my Soul quenches his thirst for the ethereal nature of the outer realm.
Do not act hastily.
Goodbye, Michael.
