    Exercise!

Exercising is a miracle drug for depression! I find myself feeling so happy after I put in a good workout! It get's the oxygen and chemicals in your brain pumpin, you feel accomplished, and it obviously has health benefits! So if you find yourself feeling sad, find some kind of physical activity you like and feel the burn!!!!!!!! I worked out really hard today and I feel so cheery, so I wanted to spread the word =)

I'm not gonna lie, I fucking hate exercising.Every time I get done working out, I'm raging mad. I get so pissed when I work out. Plus I find it so boring. My favorite past time isn't running aimlessly on a treadmill for 30 minutes, or having muscled failure while lifting weights.

Many other ways to workout...my workouts are so much fun....I do a variety of things to not get the feelings you described...hiking...swimming...kick boxing...dancing...so many options.

Well obviously lol. I guess one of the main reasons I hate working out is because I'm forced to almost daily. I'm in the military so we have to be physically fit, and we are ordered to workout. I hike and swim on my off days, but it just doesn't feel like I'm actually working out, after I get done I don't feel any sort of accomplishment.

I love exercising! It's good for your mental and physical health and an excellent way of getting rid of your bad emotions, and it can also be fun! :)
I hate it when it is done on a boring way, so I can't imagine running on a treadmill for 30 minutes, I would feel like a rat trapped in a cage.
I discovered these guys a year ago and from then on I am completely hooked!

context is so important...your first response made me think you were just a debbie downer. If someone forced me to work out, I'd be pissed off too lol

Ha! I love the dissing on treadmill; I have the opposite perspective.
I'm the mother of three kids that I stay home with all day, and I'll tell you that's hard on my Introvert side.

One of the best things that I've found to do is get up early and walk on the treadmill for an hour or so with a book or other materials I've been dying to read. I get the whole endorphin-boost from the effort (along with needed exercise) and an hour of "legit" processing time. More than once it's been my saving grace before a people-packed day.

The trick (that I've not mastered) is not letting the early effort eek away all the energy and motivation that remains in the day. (Though, granted, that weariness could be from the short night, not the exercise.)

I just add an S and Voila!! Sexercise.. 300-600 calories per session. ;)

This is also good for depression. Unless the lack of sexiercise is why you are depressed..
In that case, I apologize for being insensitive
