I don't think Eddard was stupid, he was just too honorable for a corrupt world, but some of these pictures are funny lol
I get frustrated with Eddard because I often find his sense of honor completely untethered to logic. His blindness to the motivations and ruthlessness of the people around him is pitiably naive. But no, he's not stupid. He's the person you call stupid out of exasperation because you want him to succeed and he keeps fumbling the ball.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, and I thought the images were pretty funny.

Haha, I know what you mean. But the way you have to look at it though, is that the first part was really about his pups.

I've never read the books, so can anyone tell me if the characters get excessively older with each book? For example, if Arya is a pre-teen in the first book, is she then a young adult (roughly 18-24 years old) in the second? I ask because I want to know if most of the actors will still be around next season.

No, they don't. I think each book is roughly a year? Or a handful of months. The chronology is a bit fuzzy, and the most recent two books are parallel(-ish). They will not recast. Thank goodness, too, because I really love all of the actors they've chosen for the characters.

    Eddard Stark - ISXJ
    T I'm sure

    Catalyn Stark- ISFJ
I really identify with her in the second book. I think this is a better fit than the E as some people have suggested.

The eunuch (I forget his name)- INTJ
    Varys

    Theon Greyjoy- ISTJ
I'm not seeing this one, but I don't know how to place him either.

I'm leaning towards F for Eddard. He's just very empathetic to me, and it seems as though he always cares how other people are feeling. He screams 'feeler' in my opinion.

He's definitely a TJ because he focuses more on the practical, and because he's very decisive. How many times did he make an instant decision to support Rob if he goes to war with the Lannisters? It's as though there were no other viable options in his mind. I thought he might be a sensor because he has very deep sense of duty and honor. And I don't think there's enough information to definitively determine whether he's extroverted or introverted. I figured he might be an 'I' because he's not boisterous enough to be an E, but that's insufficient 'evidence'.

    Book 2 Clash of Kings:

I just don't see Theon as being an honorable character at all. Though, I guess there are times he has to push Ned out of his mind because he's worried about what Ned would think of his actions. Maybe a sense of duty becomes more apparent later on, but as of Book 2, his primary concern is his own hide. I don't see an ISTJ doing the things he does in Book 2 though.

I'd have to reread the parts with Eddard with MBTI in mind I think. But I think a lot of his actions toward people (mostly protecting innocent children during wartime iirc) were because it was the 'right' thing to do. I don't think he cared about the Lannisters or Dany particularly so much as that he had a deep of right and wrong that children should be sheltered from war. I suppose both would have an incredible sense of duty.
