It's easy to get caught up in all the problems that complicate our lives; sometimes we forget just how lucky we are to have what it is we do have. I've found it grounding, personally, to take a moment periodically to ruminate over the things in my life that bring me health and happiness, and actively appreciate those things.
So, what good things in your life go underappreciated when it is you get lost in the struggles you are faced with?
I'm glad I'm a part of this glorious existence.
I'm glad for the summer sun, and the wistful and cheerful feelings it conjures in me.
I'm glad to have loving people in my life; my family, my friends, and myself.
I'm glad I get to go to school.
I'm glad that libraries exist, and they are free to use.
I am happy that I do not have to face more oppression than I do now.
I'm happy I have three loving cats, who I love.
I'm glad that the person I will most love in this world exists somewhere, right now.
I could go on for a while- I've done lists of 100 things I am grateful for in the past- but I think it's your turn.
Psst... I'm also happy to know the good people here. ;)
