What is your dominant wing? 3 or 5?
my Enneagram type is 8 - The Confronter with a dominant 9 wing
Point Eight: The Program of Self-defined Justice with Arrogance
Special Gift: Care for the Underdog
Self-Definition: "I can do. I'm powerful."
Shadow Issue: Lust -- use of others as objects
Rejected Element: Weakness
Addiction: Arrogant justice
Strength Needed: Trust
Defense Mechanism: Denial
Psychological Disturbance: Sociopath
Talk Style: Imperatives
Preoccupations Include: Aggression and impulse control.Puritan/hedonist dichotomy.
Control of personal objects, space and people likely to influence the EIGHT'S life.
Excessive (to others) self-presentation -- too much, too loud.
Tendency to see things in extremes, people either strong or weak, fair or unfair, with no middle ground; an automatic denial of other points of view in favor of single "legitimate" opinion that supports the EIGHT'S security.
Concern with justice and the protection of others.
Focus: Personal emphasis on satisfactory survival. Couple emphasis on possession/surrender. Community emphasis on friendship.
Life Task: Realization of truth and justice in each moment's flow of reality. Accepting one's personal weakness offers the possibility of integration.

Eights with a dominant Nine wing
When healthy they often have an aura of preternatural calm and seem highly self-confident. May be gentle, kind-hearted and quieter. Often nurturing and protective parents and steady and supportive friends. Informal and unpretentious, patient, laconic and generally somewhat introverted. Sometimes a dry or ironic sense of humour.
When average they may have an aura of implicit and simmering anger rather like a dormant volcano. Usually slow to erupt, when they do it can be sudden and explosive. When entranced the Nine wing offers them a kind of callous numbness. They can be oblivious to the force of their anger until they have hurt someone. Calmly dominating and colder, they may have an indifference to softer emotions.
When unhealthy they can be mean without remorse or aggressive in the service of stupid ends. They can be vengeful in ill-conceived ways and abuse those they love, unable to know when to quit.

I have a thread regarding this already, including SLOAN assessments. HERE.
My wind is a 5.
Fours with five wings are introspective, moody, analytical, melodramatic, melancholic, sensitive, romantic, artistic, addictive, searching … tend to feel as if something is always missing, oscillate between feeling defective at a core level and feeling distinctly special and unique even in a superior way and sometimes for identical reasons as they felt defective.
Fours with a dominant Five wing
When healthy bring profound creativity and insights of an intrapsychic kind. Their emotions are more under the surface than Fours with dominant Three wing and more private modes of communication (such as writing) are preferred. They have intellectual as well as emotional insights and can often synthesize experiences into something intensely personal yet timeless.
When more average they are devoted to cultivation of a personal worldview, often by philosophical or artistic means. They are more likely than those with a dominant Three wing to be reclusive and out of touch with the greater social world and to compensate they may adopt unconventional or eccentric ways of life. They can be purposefully obscure and enigmatic in their expressions and then have an elitist and contemptuous view of those who failed to understand them. They tend to withdraw for prolonged periods under stress which can leave them further isolated. As a result they are prone to hallucinatory states and total alienation.
When unhealthy they can inhabit a terrifying fantasy-world of their own creation. Their emotional torments are turned inward, causing severe depression and self-destructive thoughts. When average they may romanticize death but when unhealthy they may plunge into it.
