Love to daydream when I'm riding the bus especially with music. It seams to stimulate my imagination.

Music can do all sort of things to. Death doom for example, makes you feel despair/agony and drop your breathing to like half of your regular pace (Ataraxie \m/).

Whoa, are you me? I do the same thing especially when I'm in a car listening to music, my mind just wanders and wanders.

For me it is usually either Classical, Opera, or Heavy Metal (specifically Iron Maiden), and to a lesser extent Jazz. For me to be able to write and listen to music at the same time, these are the only types of possible music, and usually it must not have lyrics (or at least words I cannot understand).

I ask myself the same thing every time I come on here. My family takes an annual roadtrip to Alabama each year and it's about a 12 hour drive and I have a daydreamgasm every time. My ipod usually dies before we get to my sister's house. It just can't keep up with me

Whether I daydream or not, I'm always busy with my own mental company and inner voice.

Music is a big part of my life, of course. I've played bass guitar for over ten years and gone to concerts and bought records for most of my life. My favorite genres are indie, soul and jazz.

Day dreaming…oh I love it. Unless I’m watching something or talking to someone there isn’t much in-between. Daydreaming fills in the gaps between having to pay attention to something and or some one. I just had another near miss with them pesky car things the mortal archenemy of the daydreamer.

Music gets me off to another daydream level. It can be almost any type although something’s have the opposite effect and I want to sing and dance. The smiths and the Jam have this effect
Iv I’m depressed then it ht to classical music it just takes me into orbit and can become camatosed. Anything really apart from silly poppy stuff and disco.

Long road trips in a car playing music that’s just heaven on earth. I hate having to have conversations in the car it distracts from the music. I got lost in the music and looking out the window. I especially like night driving its just flashing lights whizzing past I get hypnotized. I can’t drive due daydreaming and subsequent slow reaction speed to everything. I exist in a much slower dimension, so I’m always the passenger

This is so true for me too. I could probably find something appropriate to daydream about for any genre of music. If I'm feeling in a lovey dovey future mood it's some dreamy electronic stuff, if I'm in an intense I want to beat somebody up mood it's something like "Come to Daddy" - Aphex Twin or "Team Killer" - Chrispy oldies could be anything. I jump around so much on my ipod. What a great invention. I think that for INFJs, ipods were the best invention of the 21st century. The daydreaming possibilities are endless!
