INFJs growing up?

Hey so I'm working on developing a young character in a story I'm working on, and I was wondering what strong Ni-based behaviors are seen in young children. the character ages from 5-12 in three books and at an older age he's easier to write based on what I know, but I feel like a great deal of my own Fi pokes through in the dialogue. what does Ni-Fe look like in stressful situations? is that where Ti-Se starts poking through more?

if you have any examples of pretty solid young INFJ characters in film or literature, that would be really helpful. {aside from Bran Stark, I already know his story well enough}

I've read somewhere that our ti and se don't really show through strong until we reach our twenties. I haven't decided if I think that's entirely true though.
I just know when I'm stressed I want to be alone so I can think it out and so no one else's opinion sways me. Only it sort of depends on the type of stress.
