    title says it.

have you guys ever felt this way?

and i'm not talking about school or work-related responsibilities, because i'm usually on top of my stuff when it comes to these things.

I should clarify- this would be more along the lines of personal stuff, as well as stuff not really required as a responsibility but something I want to do because it just feels right. There have always been times, where i WOULD like to do something and think i SHOULD do it (I think this is my Intuitive side at work) but then I don't FEEL like it when it comes down to it? and in hindsight I'm thinking "Oh, I should've done that!"

    thoughts?

I probably should have gone Christmas shopping Sunday but didn't feel like it so I mostly just did relaxing things around the house.

Usually I think to myself, "I should finish that chapter," or "Maybe I should write a poem." Instead I end up getting lost in my head.

Well..I feel like I should forgive someone, but I don't feel like it either if that makes sense.

That is SO me. If there's nothing I absoloutely have to do, I will often stand in the kitchen staring at the fish tank. All day. Thinking of all the things I could write or should write but probably won't. x

I will have internal struggles over pretty much everything.

INFJ nickname should just be "internal struggles"

at least people with terets finally shout something, or imagine the liberation if we possessed OCD, that compulsion to follow through with every desire, touching ones nose to a car hood or whatever, check the door four times, either way at least we are following through...

I feel that the struggle is that battle with Fe.
being so "all is all" with feelings yet having a very personal world within us we battle with these things.
I personally love taking my shirt off and taking walks outside in my neighborhood with my ipod, but its really awkward if I run into a person out there. like. really... really awkward. ha ha..

ok. maybe more weird for the people living around me knowing that I am just walking out and about in the sun semi naked.
I live in a really conservative area, I know other places are very very much more comfortable with nudity.

anyway. I guess these struggles happen not only with tangible things but also intangible desires, things we are blind to that we can't just define, we pick them up and then the battle rages on.
I have accepted this internal torment as a sort of compass though. if I was standing on the north pole, although it has the most powerful magnetic pull I would be lost to where I was... the compass needle spins and spins never landing on anything... so we MUST move to do anything, wether mentally but usually physically, or we seek a friend.

honestly I have found so much balance in my close friends... they ARE me at times and it can be so lovely. but strangers. I can't do it. I feel even more estranged and caught up within what I feel is myself.

(sorry. I sorta merged two issues into one on this one. main point. compass thing. and also we need to move every once in a while to get out of that null zone of internal struggle. something MUST be DONE!!!)

I do get the "I should" feeling about my artwork or writing, but most people probably feel that way to some extent about their work/hobbies. I also feel like I "should" like someone, forgive someone, talk to someone, smile at someone, and often don't because of the mood I'm in or wondering if I will come off too weird.

This is one of my biggest problems. It affects me in college, in social life, wherever. I know I shoud do some things but I get lost in my head. I suppose this is because of the Ni-Ti loop so I do my best to put Fe to work and go deal with reality.
