Never been in a relationship but I think the most important things would be respect, agape love, compassion, and UNDERSTANDING. Well said. I think one of the great roots of suffering in this world is the general lack of interest that people have in viewing situations from other peoples' points of view and trying to empathize. It is so rare, especially in the NYC area. When I encounter it, it buffers my faith in humanity. Unfortunately, I don't encounter it often, especially here.

As far as relationships for Zomboy, don't date for while. It sounds like you need to figure out your shit. So get busy figuring. Making forward progress will make you more interesting to others. Rejecting people because you're not ready will likely make you more interesting and oooo - enigmatic. In any case, if you get some stuff figured out, you'll be able to give more in any potential relationship eventually. Besides, you can always be friends with girls without dating and use the internet when necessary. Best of luck. :)
