Post awesome things in your INFJ lives here!

Okay, I've been on this forum long enough and have done enough complaining myself to realize that we INFJs are frequently unhappy in a life where our ideals are often crushed, smashed, and drilled into teensy bits of glass that end up cutting people's feet (good, nasty metaphor there, eh?).

WITH THAT SAID , I want to dedicate a thread to the GOOD things we've done (or have witnessed others doing!) that make us realize how life is not always just a crapheap whose stench reaches to seemingly limitless levels! So, post instances of awesomeness here!

My contribution: this weekend. My beloved visited. Whenever my beloved gets a chance to visit, or I get a chance to visit him (he lives about 75 miles away, and with a host of family/practical/time obligations, our visitations are limited to once a month), it's always awesome. When we're together, I forget that I'm still bumbling through my life in the mid-twenties, I forget that I'm drastically uncool, I forget all the little practical BS that tends to eat away at me and annoy me, and I forget anything else obnoxious I may have read or seen or imagined. And it's all because we do so many fun and awesome things together, like play video games, watch DVDs, walk around together, and [censored]. Simple, awesome, devoted fun. Yay! Yay! Yay!

    Aw good post :]

Well, I've got an excellent few weeks coming up and I cannot wait. This Thursday marks the beginning of the Swedish festival known as Valborg and it's a pagan holiday to welcome in spring, I believe. On Thursday, you grill, drink, and dance with friends. Then on Friday, everyone meets (like 30,000 people) in the parks around town for a strawberry and champagne breakfast. After this, there are raft races in the river, more picnics, bon fires, more dancing, drinking, etc. It's going to be wonderful.
After this, I've got a few concerts to attend for some new favorite artists, I'm visiting an amusement park in Stockholm with my friend, then my parents are coming to visit Sweden. And then after all that, I'm flying to the UK with the previously mentioned friend and we'll travel around for two weeks together and then end our trip with a music festival in the country <3

No way! I was just about to post a similar thread like this last night(except in the General Chat forum or here). High five for great minds who think alike!

After being rushed to the hospital on Friday, the doctor(who I believe was around my age) said several nice things about me. I ended up walking out of the hospital with a potential job since my mom told her I edited/retouched photos. She asked for my number/email and she's going to send me an old photo of her parents that she wants me to fix. I thought it was totally cool that what started as an awful morning ended up not so bad. So I suppose there's always some good with the bad, we just have to keep our eyes open and be alert to see it.

I volunteer twice a week at a non profit hospital. Receiving a heartfelt thank you from an injured or paralysed patient whom I helped walk or function well, makes every crappy misconception about my profession negligible.

Today I pulled out my relatively unfulfilled yet imaginative 'to-do' list and got my brains ****** out on the beach and again at home. Does that count?

Oh, and I got a certificate today for a suicide prevention training course I did not long ago. Haven't saved anyone's life yet...

Umm... I'm almost done with my courses for college!! Just two weeks left plus finals. Then I get to student teach in August - so that's exciting.

My wonderful friend has a wonderful boyfriend. This week he told me he's going to propose to her (he told me, 'cause he needs help with some pratical things) That made my day.. - no, my week.

Well, often I complain and whine about my life, very true. I can be such an Eeyore. But I'm coming out of my phase of...deadness. I've been nice to everyone and giving out hugs, and just being the best I can be. I'm super super happy, and I know it's lame of me to post this up here, but I'm in love right now. With somebody, but also with the world.

    :)

Moms are so sweet my mom went out today and unexpectedly bought something for me, even it isn't much, it is the thought that counts.
