Like everyone else I become more social, comfortable and get happy tipsy but am also still very aware of what's going on around me and still like to stay in control (probably why I dont often let myself get past the tipsy stage). Can also relate to @LostTheMarbles with the protectiveness of others as regardless of how much I'm drinking I'm always still looking out for everyone else.
My friends complain that they've never seen me drunk because on the few times I do let go I still stay just shy of that line of complete inhibition that others seem to be fine crossing so they never remember what I'm like drunk because they're always worse off than me.

Same thing while high, while it might make me giggle and more prone to laughing, in my head I'm thinking just as well. Ironically this supposedly social drug just makes me more quiet and introspective than normal :P. Honestly I'm the most fun when sober.

I can't shut up when drunk. It's pretty fun.

This is a mystery for which I may never have an answer.

As of this post, I've never had alcohol, or any other intoxicating/influential substance, for that matter. I honestly wouldn't mind if it remains a mystery, but I'm not dead yet, so who knows what might happen between now and then.

And in case you're thinking I'm just some kid, I recently celebrated my 32nd birthday.

Yeah, no worries. I'm the only one I know of at my age who has this record too. Go me!

    I'm relaxed.
    In my body.
    In the room.
    In comfort.
Loose in terms of not being tense and rigid and so very self-contained.

I can still show selective restraint and self-discipline, but I don't bother feeling self-conscious of whether or not what I said or did is going to ruin me for the rest of my life. I've relaxed my sense of anxiety and fear only to the point that I can enjoy others enjoying my company without all that noisy crosstalk and background noise of my brain distracting me. I get to be in the moment. I get to LIVE. I get to think while taking action, rather than thinking before taking action. It's a fluid, fun, instantaneous feedback way to be. I imagine it might be SP-ish because that Extraverted Sensing gets to come out to play without every other part of my brain creating a meme chorus of "Go home, you're drunk." Instead, the chorus is, "WOOHOO WE'RE DRUNK! Finally, a gorram BREAK. LET'S BE FUNNY and just GO WITH IT."

I don't have to get tipsy or drunk to experience that state, though. My brain learns what it needs to learn during the uninhibited release and applies that approach later when I'm sober to the furthest extent that it can w/o being inauthentic.

I've been told I'm an extreme flirt while drunk. I go up to people and start stroking their hair/beard/skin/what-ever's-in-reach. To me it just feels like I'm being as affectionate as I'd like to be on a daily basis lol. I also tell people exactly what lovely things I think about them, which. . .usually makes it seem like i must be thinking about them a lot. . .but I haven't. I just pay attention and NORMALLy don't tell. But when I've had a few drinks, it feels good to tell people how fantastic they are.

I tend to play with movement, to be silly, and to steadily keep drinking. I never do anything really stupid. I guess I just don't have the desire to, deep down lol. I like to create challenges for myself, and probably will end up cuddling with someone by the end of the night.

It's a state I enjoy being in. I do rather wish I could be so affectionate normally without it being perceived as. . .well i don't really even understand what it's perceived as, but I know people get confused lol.

I'm still myself, very sensitive to others I suppose... but I'm a little more assertive than usual. I tend to talk more than I listen too. My best friend said he didn't want to have me drunk because he can't get messages across as well as when I'm sober. When I do get drunk, everyone seems to be talking about me or talking to me instead of the usual - just talking amongst themselves while I sit quietly and listen to everyone say what they want to say.

There was a time in life when I enjoyed going to parties to be the first one to get drunk. I'd usually recruit another willing person to go get drunk with me. We'd have a few glasses of whatever we're drinking and drink them bottoms up. We'd talk a lot between the glasses. I'd talk a lot during this time, even if I'm not drunk yet, because I'd like to get to know the people I'm going to get drunk with before it's too late and I start doing crazy things.

I use drunkenness as an excuse to cut loose and be more spontaneous. My Se comes out and I'm more playful and want to wrestle someone or do something funny like jumping and trying to climb a tree. I'm more competitive, arrogant and Se-like when drunk and people think it's hilarious how much my personality does a 360 and love when I drink. One friend suggested that I stop drinking or said that he doesn't like when I drink because I usually seem so in control of myself but when I drink, I do dumb stuff. The inferior function is said to be archaic and infantile and, in my case, my Se does seem to manifest in a barbaric way when I'm drunk. Think Fight Club (okay, not that bad but that has barbaric inferior Se written all over it).

I'm not the type to drive drunk or with drunk drivers though. I usually tell my friends not to drink or ask how drunk they are when they try driving and tell them that they're going to die if they leave.

Yeah that's me too. I become like an ESFP? I dunno, anyway, I become like a party animal extroverted confident person. I do dumb stuff too, but i kinda like it. Whoever said INFJs were "not serious" were pretty wrong about me. I love the relaxation of 'letting go' - but that said, I restrict myself with alcohol because I enjoy it a little too much for my liking.
