    Looking to meet other INFJ's

Hi, I am new to this forum and am looking forward to talking with other INFJ's ! Any interesting experiences with your intuitive, sixth sense? I get very strong vibes when meeting someone new and can usually tell a lot about them quickly, but can't alway explain it. I'm sure you all know what I am talking about. It's so great to be understood. I just took the Briggs/Myers test the other day and now I know why I always felt so unique and rather misunderstood.

Welcome kitty, yes I get that reading other people before I know anything about them stuff. I've been experimenting with premonitions recently, just trying to let go of thinking and tapping into my natural flow and all. Anyway don't worry to much about your newfound talent, the hardest thing to do is sit back and let it all happen, it is the only real way of dealing with the stress I find. Anyways welcome aboard, I've only just joined to so alls good

Hiyo. I don't have any psychic abilities or instant insights into people that I meet, but I like to think I'm in pretty good touch with my feelings. For instance:

    **

S1: Ehh..why am I commenting on this thread?

S2: Because they said they were looking to meet other INFJs.

S1: Yes, but looking at what she wrote, she was interested in meeting INFJs with super-sensory abilities, or other specialness. People who would "all know what she's talking about". I'm not one of those people. So, what purpose does it serve for me to comment on here and say something like, "Um. I'm not one of you. Looks like INFJs aren't your friends either." :)

S2: That wasn't your intention though.

S1: Ehh...and now I'm trying to show off my Ni, or whatever the f--- it is that makes me do this, to compensate for not having premonitions. I'm showing off and doing my little performance to try to attract attention. @_@ I wasn't so averse to doing it when I was new here, but it's very strange for me to be doing it now. I'm supposed to be one of those older members who has a firm foothold and is sort of approaching the other members from the position of, "Hi, I've been here a while. Just wander around a bit. You'll like it here. Just comment on enough threads and you'll get the hang of it. Yep. Someday you'll be cool. Like me."

S2: Hah. You feel like you have to be a role model?

    S1: Something like that.

Hi there! I'm brand new to this forum as well. :)

I know what you mean about being able to tell a lot about people shortly after meeting them. I've had the same experience quite a few times myself. For example, a few years ago, my younger sister had a crush on this boy. I'd never met him before, but the moment she pointed him out to me, I automatically got a queasy feeling in my gut, although I tried to ignore it, thinking I was just being paranoid. Well, it turns out that he wasn't such a nice guy after all, and my intuition was right. :P

I know a few people who refer to me as Cassandra ...and they still think I'm wrong the next time around.
I'm not new to this forum but it took me a long time to figure out my MBTI type....mainly because I champion my Ti.

I'm the same way too...For the longest time, I thought I was an INTJ, then I started doing more research about the different personality types, and I identify best with INFJs.

    Hey, welcome.

I hope we can somehow make you feel less alone. Internet friends are a substitute for real people, but at least it's something... *shrugs* Sorry, I'm sort of a depressive...

I get very strong vibes when meeting someone new and can usually tell a lot about them quickly, but can't alway explain it.
That's Ni, and it's totally awesome. You should always trust it. I totally have the same experiences. :)

Hello, I am a new INFJ as well. :x I do not know if I have had any serious psychic experiences but intuitive, irrational ones.

Yes, It's amazing how unconsciously noticing the subtle body language signs, or incongruent speech of a stranger can give such a strong physical reaction.
I rather see intuïtion as an intricate way of using our 5 senses instead of attributing it to a sixth sense, though.

Great to meet you Kitty. This is one of the reason why I have a hard time making freinds, because I can sense things alot.People always tell me that I judge to Quickly, however not not the case.I do try be fair with other, but its hard when I get a bad feeling about someone.
