i love fashion, and this is actually the first time i've ever linked personality type and fashion. obviously there are so many other factors that influence someone's taste in fashion (or lack thereof) - the question is, is personality type one of them?

i tend to keep it simple, but kind of quirky. i don't really wear jewellery, unless it's something significant like my best friend bracelet. my main rule is to find something flattering. something that emphasizes all the right lines and brings out the best colour. that's an little minty, but yeah. haha. okay, here are my dorky pics:

I normally just wear black t-shirts or a green hoodie... so at first... I couldn't think of a thing that I could post of fashion... Then I realized I had the perfect picture.

That's me paintballing last year. xD My paintball gun is bottom left... I have it wrapped up with one of my mom's old skirts that she gave me permission to tear up. (The pattern was great fall camo)

I tend to wear darker shades (Black, Grey). I like wearing tight clothing to show off my looks hehe, but I don't really mind wearing really worn clothing (actually I'd prefer it!). Also, I'm into buying clothes cheap like at Goodwill and similar places. It's not really the clothes that I like, it's how I look in them. Plus I like to be utilitarian with my clothing so I keep it for a while and make sure it's something that I will wear for a long time.

I usually do jeans, t-shirt, hoodie. Nothing special.

I like to be comfortable, but I try not to look sloppy (plz disregard ironically messy hair :P ).

Other times I wear stuff like this:

Skinny jeans, belt, tucked-in shirt...not so comfortable, but I like how it looks.

Nothing is more unattractive to me than a guy in an oversized t-shirt and basketball shorts. Blegh.

Johnny, I need some hair styling tips from you. I love the natural bedhead look but I haven't suceeded in creating one on myself :(

About my style: at work, it's classic and conservative. No low necklines and high hemlines for me. I don't want to be hit on. I don't want people to think I got to where I am by flirting or sleeping around. I'm into crisp white shirts, well-cut shift dresses, soft blouses, high waisted skirts, wide legged pants (but fitted at the hips), pashmina shawls, and sky high heels. I accessorise mainly with a simple pearl necklace. Sometimes, I throw in an interesting brooch. The colour combinations also tend to be low key- white, cream, grey, blue, black etc.

For casual, I like a variety of styles. I wear a lot of mini dresses with a belt and/or vest. I like maxi dresses and tunics as well, and often do the bohemian look. I love pairing these with gladiator sandals/heels, studded belts and brightly coloured bags. Other favourite looks- ethnic stuff mixed and matched with modern pieces (like jeans), nautical stripes and vintage (the 80's lace currently in fashion now is ab fab!!). My idea of slopping around tends more towards a loose dress and cute shorts combo than jeans, though I also wear these. If I go somewhere smarter, I throw in a well-made bag, necklace and heels. As you can tell, my wardrobe is bursting. Moving to another apartment is always a headache for me :)
