Here is a list of traits that supposedly describe INFJ; I can't remember where they're from, other than that it was a personality test site, so maybe you've all seen this list before! I rediscovered it just now when reading through some private journal posts from when I first discovered Myers-Briggs... but anyway!
I personally can relate very strongly to essentially all of those; the only one that stands out as odd is the thing about marijuana! I wouldn't have thought that had much to do with personality types.creative, smart, focus on fantasy more than reality, attracted to sad things, fears doing the wrong thing, observer, avoidant, fears drawing attention to self, anxious, cautious, somewhat easily frightened, easily offended, private, easily hurt, socially uncomfortable, emotionally moody, does not like to be looked at, fearful, perfectionist, can sabotage self, can be wounded at the core, values solitude, guarded, does not like crowds, organized, second guesses self, more likely to support marijuana legalization, focuses on peoples hidden motives, prone to crying, not competitive, prone to feelings of loneliness, not spontaneous, prone to sadness, longs for a stabilizing relationship, fears rejection in relationships, frequently worried, can feel victimized, prone to intimidation, lower energy, strict with self
Some of these things sound rather 4ish to me, though, so I wonder whether other INFJs with different enneatypes would relate to them at all!
In particular, I wonder whether people would willingly associate themselves with all the fear-related things; I very much consider myself fearful and sensitive, and almost pride myself in that (I talk openly about how, for example, I'm too scared to watch horror films), whereas I imagine other people might prefer to think of themselves as stronger than being controlled by fear?
