    INFJ quotes

I collect quotes. Any of you have quotes that you feel capture an aspect of being an INFJ well? Here are some:

    Introversion:

    Know thyself. Socrates

If the answer is not inside you, where will you find it? DT Suzuki

    Intuition:

Sex and beauty are inseparable, like life and consciousness. And the intelligence which goes with sex and beauty, and arises out of sex and beauty, is intuition. DH Lawrence

There is no logical way to the discovery of these elemental laws. There is only the way of intuition, which is helped by a feeling for the order lying behind appearance. Albert Einstein

    Feeling

Individuality is founded in feeling, and the recesses of feeling, the darker, blinder strate of character, are the only places in the world in which we catch real fact in the making, and directly percieve how events happen, and how work is actually done. William James

Esteeming itself is of all esteemable things, the most esteemable treasure. Nietzsche

Okay, she's not an INFJ. In fact, I think she was an INTJ but still, this quote resonated with me when I first read it.

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark. In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.

Ah a fellow Rush fan! Some excellent Rand inspired lyrics there for sure. I like your quote a lot, and I agree that Ayn was NOT an INFJ. One of my favorites of hers is:

Love is a call to rise. Ayn Rand

Snakes and Arrows was a great album. Rather depressing, but still great no less. Fine choice of avatar.

That aside, I don't agree with the idea of Objectivism as a whole, but I think her view on the individual was very inspirational. She was a brilliant woman. Very calculated and somewhat pretentious, but smart no less.

When I talk about Ayn Rand I usually say that, from my perspective, she was absolutely brilliant and in many ways inspirational.....and flawed.
