    Wow Iam a male INFJ

I had no idea how rare this personality type was, but boy does it sure answer alot of questions for me now! First of all I feel that I fit this type to a tee:

    1)I am a teacher
    2)Have trouble connecting with others
    3)Need time alone
    4) Freakishly intuitive!
5)I look like a bker on the outside, but a softy on the inside lol

The bane of my existence is hyper-extroverts and small talk! Can anyone relate as I often feel alone. As a teacher of Junior High I have alot of fun with my kids and enjoy the interaction, but I hate socializing with my colleagues.

Can anyone relate and have give me some tips on how to navigate successfully with this personality type?

What makes it so exceedingly rare for a male?

    Cheers fellow INFJs

Oh, cool. You male INFJs are interesting. I know one in real life, and he's my best friend. I even considered him romantically for a while.

Why is it I keep meeting (in real life) the rare male INFJs, and not the rare female INTJs.... *sigh*

    Much funs, of course

Maybe neat in some ways, but a tough personality type in many others!

Welcome, I'm glad you're finding yourself. I have a friend who used to supervise me who is also an INFJ. He's a pretty cool dude. Several inches talker than me and a body builder. Big softy inside. I'll often drag him out to lunch, we'll chat and keep up with each other's lives... big help sharing insights. Just keep in mind that the list of traits you made can apply to many types.

Was he a prison guard at one point in his life? Or a Teacher?
