    Love Types: INFJ

I want to get this book, Love Types. But, it better have more information in it than this:

If You Are the INFJ: Mystic Writer

"Love is in your mind, heart, and soul."

    You Are Someone Who:

Is intrigued by psycholoogy, philosophy, mysticism an spirituality.
    Is a great listener.
    Is deeply compassionate.
    Is usually quiet.
May have streaks of extreme stubbornness.
    Loves reading and writing.

If You Are Female, Your Best Matches Are:
    INFJs: Mystic Writers
    INTPs: Scholars
    INFPs: Idealistic Philosophers
    ESTPs: Wheeler-Dealers

If You Are Male, Your Best Matches Are:
    INFJs: Mystic Writers
    INFPs: Idealistic Philosophers

If You Want to Win the Heart of Your Ideal Mate, Do the Following:
    For INFPS:
*Keep the conversation warm, personal, and conflict-free.
*Be wary of violating their deeply held values.
*Engage them in conversation and take them on dates that revolve around the arts, relationships, psychology, and finding the meaning of life.
*Be considerate of their need to spend quiet, intimate time with you.

    For INFJs:
*Cater to your date's fascination with metaphysical, psychological, or philosophical topics.
*Respect their need for solitude and quiet dates at home or in a private setting.
*Share activities with them that revolve around their love of reading and writing (eg. book signings and poetry readings).
*Provide structure on your dates--ie. let them know in advance where you are going, what you will be doing, how long it will take, and so forth.

    For INTPs:
*Appeal to their craving for new ideas, theories, and systems (eg. give them a book on a topic they know little about and discuss it with them).
*Join them on intellectually stimulating dates such as a visit to a science museum or computer fair.
*Engage them in intellectual discussion and debate on any topic they are interested in.
*Respect their uniquely analytical way of looking at the world.

    For ESTPs:
*Join them on any of their favorite fun activities: dancing, gambling, diving, jet skiing, and so on.
*Don't be overly possessive: they love to flirt and can't stand anyone who doesn't allow them to be social.
*Put your foot down, however, when they are being too flirtatious; they respect a mate who won't let them get away with excessive extra-curricular flirting that may lead to an affair.
*Encourage them to do what they do best: entertain you and make you laugh until you cry.

    INTP - The Thinkers

blegh... why get a book to tell you what other personality types like when you have a cafe full of them to talk to?

...for the record, I'd sooner listen to someone who knows a lot more about a topic than I do talk to me for hours about it than I would be engaged with something I've already discovered an interest in.

...and although INFPs, FJs, and TPs have a lot in common... why do you think ESTPs are listed with that group?

There is another book that I find to be useful in dealing with relationships. It's called Just Your Type: Create the Relationship You've Always Wanted Using the Secretes of Personality Type.

I like to read...I eat books. It interests me and then I can talk to others about what I read. Yay!

Good question. That's not the first time I've seen the wheeler-dealer listed as a potential. I read up on the profile once and had to shrug.
