So, I've been somewhat obsessed with this book since I've been reading it in English, and I've been attempting to Myers-Briggs type the characters, so here's what I've come up with so far...

    St. John - ENFJ
    Blanche Ingram - ESFP
    Mrs. Fairfax - ESFJ

    I agree.

But I think St. John could be an Introvert.
And I think Mr. Rochester could be an Extrovert.

BTW, what do you think about these characters:

    Mr. Reed - ESFJ
    Georgiana Reed - ESTP
    Eliza Reed - ?
    Miss Temple - ENFJ
    Bertha - ?
    Rosamond Oliver - ESFP

    Jane: INFJ
I don't even know how to explain this, she just is, in every way.

Mr. Rochester: ENTP. Definitely. I could see an argument for ENTJ, but I'm pretty sure he's an extrovert.

St. John Rivers: ISTP or INTP. definitely NOT an NF!! Just, no! Honestly, I think he's really creepy, and way too legalistic and judgemental to use Fe.

    Diana: ENFP

    Mary: INFP

    Adele: ESFP

    Mrs. Fairfax: ESFJ

Love this book. INTP sounds about right for St. John. Did not care for that guy one whit.

As for Mr. Rochester, I've never seen ENTP suggested but it actually suits him.

St. John is probably an SJ.

Seriously? I always got an intuitive vibe from him, but I haven't seen any of the films if that's what we're supposed to be basing our typings on.

    Ti-doms are legalistic and judgemental?

Actually, I think he's Fi+Te incarnate. Might be an ISTJ.

ISTJ makes sense too. And no I didn't mean that! Haha I just meant that HE himself was legalistic and judgemental, to a point where it's impossible to imagine him using any extroverted feeling, like an ENFJ. I know plenty of judgemental feelers, and many sensitive thinkers, so I wasn't making any generalizations. :)
