I support Silent Chameleon's typing of Eddie as an ENTP. He has that oddball, esoteric humor while at the same time being extraordinarily bombastic and jumping around the stage.

Karl Pilkington - out of curiosity, why INTP over, say, ISTP?
    a) No idea, two different suggestions, I don't know 'im that well.
    b) No idea who that is.

Karl Pilkington: Karl Pilkington is clearly not using Se. In the Ricky Gervais show he often shows signs of being almost completely unaware of his environment (such as the time when he was a kid when he was so focused on a book he was reading that he walked into a bush, and had to stay there for hours until his dad helped him out), or of coming up with possibilities of how to improve the world around him - that's Ne. He's INTP, although a very stupid one. He was great fun to type.

At the moment, I'm particularly curious about Charlie Brooker's type. He's incredibly cynical, especially against humans [and I love it] and rants against stupidity angrily [in contrast to, say, David Mitchell, who rants against stupidity irritatingly]. Is he a feeler of sorts? I'd like to think he's an INTJ largely because of his many works containing ranting against humanity [How TV Ruined Your Life, Screenwipe, Newswipe, etc.], but is he too angry? *shrugs* Next thing you know, he's head-to-head with David Mitchell [Would I Lie To You?] and as David mocks something Charlie did for romance and Charlie retorts, "that's what emotions are like".

I think Charlie Brooker is probably a very very cynical ENFP. He might also be an INFP, but certainly an xNFP type.

Perhaps I more likely? I don't know. He hates dancing, if that helps.

On the other hand, if he is a cynical ENFP, only then will I understand the ENFP/INTJ dynamic. *cackles*

What do people think about Janeane Garofalo? I was watching an interview with her and I found myself surprisingly attracted to her. Must be the intelligence. Anyway, I'm gonna guess INFP.

I've just watched an episode of How TV Ruined Your Life on YouTube. You're right, he does seem more Introverted. He seems a clear INFP to me - reminds me a bit of my sister for some reason.

That's so hilarious. He's an INFP -- "The Idealist". An extremely cynical, sarcastic, anti-human Idealist.

[To make clear, I'm not mocking your suggestion, just the slight irony of it. *grins*]

Haha I'm not THAT cynical and sarcastic! :P

But I do agree Charlie Brooker's probably INFP. I think it's quite easy for an INFP to become disillusioned with the world. How would you feel if you grew up believing everyone was nice and the world was wonderful, and then realise that the world's full of ****, nearly everyone's out to screw you over, and eventually you're going to die and nobody will remember you? :D

Charlie Brooker is very pessimistic though, even for an INFP. :)

The ones I agree with are Dylan Moran (INFP), Woody Allen (INFP). Julian Barratt (INFP), Noel Fielding (ENFP), Russell Brand (ENFP), Eddie Izzard (ENTP).

    Not sure about the rest.
