I think he's ISFJ. Lori seems ISFP. Shane seems ESTP. I don't think Shane is intuitive over sensing or *NTP acing.

I don't think the show has been on long enough to really get a good reading. The writers from the first season have been replaced so you're combining two different Ricks. Not unless you're going off of the comic book Rick but it seems like no one on this forum has read the comic book other than myself so far.

We're all just playing guesswork, that's all. I don't think anyone but comic readers could get anything comprehensive. I'm kind of using mbti to guess what it would be, not to say there is a definite consistency in his character either.

I have read the entire comic series up to this point. I figured there would be more people who have seen the show than people who have read the comics, so I focused the OP on that.

Feel free to type the comic book versions of the characters if you'd like. There's at least one person who cares :P

Also, I believe the new writers' first episode was season 2, episode 2 -- so we haven't seen more than 1 episode so far as far as the "new" incarnations of the characters. The only character I noticed being portrayed differently so far was Darryl (who doesn't exist at all in the comics, hmph).

They removed some characters and/or changed some to my disliking. I'm alright with Darryl but I think T-Dog is a bitch and I'm assuming he's substituting for a character I won't name because I don't want people in this thread to get curious in case he is brought back into the story.

I also have a hard time typing from the comic book since that would just spoil anything here. I don't really see Rick as an NJ though, I don't see him as a Ni dom or aux. I could see him as an ISFP because of the Fi and Se. He seems to want to do things for the betterment of the group and he acts very quick on his feet. Not that any type that isn't Fi/Se couldn't do that, this is of course just stereotyping.

Yeah, that's another reason I was unsure about discussing the comics - as you said, it could end up being a thread of spoilers.

I had the same thoughts on T-Dog, except he seems like a way lamer character than the possible comic counterpart. Honestly it looks to me like he'll be killed off soon on the show, but there's no way to know for sure. I'm okay with Darryl too, but I wonder what the deal with his brother is going to be, how are they going to handle that?

You make a good point about Rick and Se, I see that. From the comics I guess I saw him as using Ni to consider future possibilities, though that wouldn't necessarily make him Ni dom.

Exactly my thoughts. He's nowhere near as badass nor useful as his possible comic book counterpart. I've been expecting T-Dog to die as well because the opportunities are there. He's weaker in every new episode or finds a way to be more whiny. I heard a rumor that the brother of Darryl would be replacing another character in the future but I highly doubt it.

And with Rick being ISFP, it could be Fi - Se - Ni, he still has Ni but it's in the tertiary position. He could pull from that as well if needed.

Someone will probably read this later and laugh at our predictions and it turns out T-dog is just the mastermind that started the zombie apocalypse and he's been playing everyone like pawns.

Yeah, T-Dog is kind of a one-dimensional character.

I have to say I LOL'd at Dale saying "T-Dog's gonna die!" in the last episode.

Yeah, Rick definitely could be ISFP.

After re-watching some episodes, I will have to agree with majority now, and say Rick is probably ISFP.
