Your Opinion of My Type

Just wondering if anyone has a different opinion about my personality type, judging from my posts.

I personally think that you have appeared very INFPish so far.

INFP in the Perseus System is the Love Bird.

I'm not questioning it...I feel certain that I am INFP. But, sometimes we can deceive ourselves, and others are able to provide insight.

Lol@Perseus System. I think you seem INFP-ish to me. You should really flesh out your question so we can see what sort of words your using, the structure of the sentence etc. If you consider yourself a good writer, your most likely an INFP.

Here's an example of my writing. However, I never went back to develop some of the ideas, so it isn't finished (and may never be :P).

Inter-personal, Proximal, Nature-loving, Good use of words and clearly a very good writer. This reminds me of the curious mind of the INFP type, I could be wrong. But what I've seen I tried picturing myself or one of the other INFPs writing this. I'm still learning the functions and distinguishing between all the types, so I'm quite limited with feedback on this topic. But this seems something that an INFP would write. However, as your experiencing, I'm also doubting my type.

There are a few things you've said in this thread that have made me agree that you are INFP as well.

I think that to be aware of the ability to deceive oneself and to be willing to listen to the opinions of others is very common for an introverted NF. I could be wrong though.

Your unfinished writing makes me think P, although I'm a J and I admit to having a few unfinished things myself. Although I probably dislike myself more for that than a P would. haha

Your profile picture is very NFish. I kind of love that profile picture way better than my own.

It would probably take something really obvious for me to be like, "Oh, that person is SO not an xxxx." So I suppose you could still be something else... That only means that you haven't done anything obvious.

You certainly seem like an INFP to me. I wish I were an INFP. I feel somewhat trapped by my J function. But I like it at the same time.
