I went on a date with a guy last year. I don't think I've ever met anyone like him and I truly didn't know what to make of him. Our date lasted just 1 1/2 hours. He took me out to dinner on a Monday and we also had a few drinks. I cut the date short because I was truly tired and I didn't want to drink anymore due to the impression I might make. Though, i was interested in "dating" him again..it never happened. We emailed one another and both said "gushing" things about the other but like i said, nothing happened after that. For some reason I always felt "bad about it." I started to think things like, "i hurt his feelings by cutting the date short." Of course, this just might be me, an INFP who blames herself for what goes wrong. Anyway, months passed..I then wrote a "review" of him (and a good one!) on a dating site about him. I was hoping to thaw him out. He finally sent me an email which i promptly responded to. I then asked him on a date and offered to pay. A week went by and he finally responded by accepting (but no date yet) but stated that he's paying. I will attempt to describe him.
He's very intimidating. He's some kinda top manager in his company, from Scotland. He's very talkative and talked non-stop. I tried to listen but had trouble paying attention. I guess I was intimidated. I do remember him talking about a younger g/f which he seemed disgusted by her display of exhibitionism and shallowness. He's definitely "E", or so it seemed, very bubbly and "life is worth living thingy". He also described a procedure that he had to undergo (this alarmed me greatly, does he realize doctor's operate on people to make money??) with such a trusting nature i was truly alarmed. I haven't the slightest idea what to make of him. Usually I get a feel for a person, but with him, nothing. I also thought later perhaps he was nervous around me, hence all the talking? What do ya'll think?
