I read somewhere that NTs' thoughts, after they had matured, would be entirely unintelligible in language if they were just directly translated... I'm thinking this is one of those times. I could run through and be "well here's one side of it... and here's another... and then there's this, too," (again, assuming I even wanted to do so), but even then there'd be all sorts of things left out, anyway. Quite simply, I just don't think it would be good for me or others if I did.
Boy, talk about beat around the bush. No need to explain. I was just curious.

I've seen this movie several times. I'm positive Nash is INTx (in the movie and real life). In the beginning, he says, "[c]lasses will dull your mind, destroy the potential for authentic creativity." He refuses to do anything less than original, groundbreaking work, and sets very high standards for himself. However, I'm not sure whether to call him an INTP or INTJ, more likely INTP. His humor and extroverting aspect seems consistent with an INTP type.

As for his wife, I'm not really sure. I suppose INFJ fits. She would certainly need to be an N of some kind.

Yeah MBTI isn't meant for mental disorders, but in this movie it's quite clear that his actual personality isn't quite affected by his mental disorder. The real problem is like sociopaths testing as 100% T when there's an extra factor in there somewhere.

What can I say, INTPs are just extremely loveable people. ;)

I spent a very long time trying to disprove Jennifer Connellys personality in this movie being INFJ for two very strong reasons:
-I happen to be very fond of Jennifer Connelly.
-INFJ is the MB type of my mother.

So with the full attention of an INTP for twenty minutes or so, fighting against primal freudian fears, I reached the conclusion that she is most definitly an INFJ. The only thing I might doubt is when she got up to fix the window situation in class, making her more T or E maybe. :P

I think he's an unstable INTJ who has an incredibly powerful Ni.

(I gotta add though: That near to the lights from the house, i somehow doubt they would see the stars so well :-P)
The Guards SJ were after him. Called a Witch Hunt when they are after the Socialites ISFP, but John Nash was an INTP. Don't know about John Crowe?

Thinking leading to spirals of suicide and delusion trip.
