INTP, I mean think about it. He used telegraphs to see the entire war effort/guide his officers at times. He had a telegraph center set in the war dept, and every day he would read the messages, sometimes even as they came out then send out an order. He left the altar before he married then came back almost broken and grim, loved to read and had the some most intp quotes that I know about, was extreamly brillant, and so on.

I've read that he's intj, intp, enfj, and infj. They don't know what the hel that guy was. He seems like more of an infj though because he used a lot of Ni.I didn't hear about him using Ne.

I've read ISTJ,INTP,ENFJ, and ENFJ. No one can agree on even a single letter. He seems like a J. I also think he was an S. the Gettysburg address is supposed to be so good because it was simple, it connected with the common man. though, being both a politician and a person who lived a long time ago makes it difficult to really tell.

No, I'm thinking that he had Ni and Fe. I think that he was an INFJ.

while id love to claim ole abe as an INFJ... an introverted NF would be seriously stretched, exhausted, and overwhelmed by being the President of the United States - much less, the president during the civil war.

im not saying it isnt possible. im just saying it would require LOTS of effort, self-sacrifice, etc. probably much more than any other type.

see gandi or martin luther king jr as successful INF leaders.

not sure how we can type figures from the past though... or how to go about determining lincolns letters.

ps, supposedly obama is the first NF president. ?

ENFJ maybe? That guy was intuitive, I know that for sure, but he was no NT.
