The Doctor: ENTP (Majority of the Time) but has also been ENFP, INTP, and even a ENTJ.
Rose: ENFP

as a side note, Tom Baker and that dang scarf has always been my favorite doctor....he was it when I first got introduced to the series and even after going back and watching everything before him, he still is my favorite...

The Tenth Doctor was certainly an ENTP. I recall him stating that he has a tendency to randomly connect information around him to formulate conclusions that are difficult to perceive concretely (dominant Ne).

Doctor Who is a shape shifter, but what is basic type? It is a diifferent Galaxy from the Terran Empire "S" types and introspectives "N" types form the Jovian planets (sometimes called Foreigners or Aliens). .

But as a Time Lord from Gallifrey, this I assume to be a Jovian planet in their Star System. Time Lords are intuitively thought to be INTP. However, the Doctor is reprobate and he may have regressed to a scatty INFJ.

However, the two hearts put a different perspective on things. He is probably a dual processor operating two types at the same time.

Time travel almost certainly requires a shift to the "E" function so he will be ENTP probably a PS Psychedelic and ENFJ Teacher (not very often because I am not the script writer. I have written unpublished Doctor Who stories but I also have a namesake -real name- who publishes Doctor Who stories).

Never have I been prouder of sharing my personality type with anyone, historical or fictional, than I am of sharing it with the Doctor. I am a mad fan of the whole show, for sure.

I just bought my first car - a red 97 chevy cavalier. I'm naming it Billie, for Billie Piper, of course. Option 2 was Alonzo (Allons-y, Alonzo!)

Before I give my own types, I just want to say that breaking down or not wanting to kill people, etc. does not change someone from T to F because I've seen an argument that the 10th doctor is ENFP.

Amy: ESFP
Rory: ISFJ

River Song: ENTP? (lots of those on this show)

Donna: ENFP? (I don't know her very well, just that she's an F and an E)

Definitely ENTP for the Doctor.

Rose could be ESTP

Tbh, I see Donna as an ESFJ. It's been forever since I watched her episodes, but I had her typed that way before. She seems to prefer Fe over Fi.

I totally agree on Matt Smith's and David Tennant's Doctors. Both ENTPs, both awesome.
