    The Divergent Trilogy

    I haven't read this, but I'm really considering it... And, as I said on another topic I made, I really like to have an idea of what the types are before I subjectively begin to unconsciously type them all. Has anyone read it?

    ISFP - The Artists

    I've read the first one, it's amazing. I highly recommend you read it.
    I'm not quite sure on the types of the characters, but here are my best guesses:
    Tris: ISTP
    Four: ISTJ? I don't even know.
    Caleb: INFJ
    Christina: ESTP
    Will: ESTP?

    I can't think of any other characters at the moment, but I really do suggest you read it.

    ENFJ - The Givers

    I just finished it about a week ago. (: It was alright, and I really enjoyed it at first... The world was refreshing. The author said the factions were based off MBTI, but then she couldn't even remember the preferences and believes that she herself switches on and off of ISFJ, INFP, and INFJ (which of course isn't right)...

    Tris seems very ISTP, now that you mention it. My friend typed her as ISFJ, but then she would fit in more with Abnegation from the start. I must say I agree with you. (:

    The author seems to relate to Four the most... but yes, ISTJ does make a lot of sense to me. He quite reminds me of many ISTJ characters I've read about.

    YES, Caleb as an INFJ. I really found myself relating to him, his healthy sense of Fe making him fit in well, yet his strong Ti making him crave knowledge, and his Ni feeling as if he knows trustworthiness better than anyone else... So INFJ (:

    I had Christina as ISTP, but ESTP makes as much sense. (: unless she's INTP...

    I think Will is ENTP... He just seems more NT than SP (unless that's just a product of his upbringing)

    INTJ - The Scientists

    I think Four is an INTJ and not an ISTJ.

    INTP - The Thinkers

    Four was very hard for me to type ... but I did go with INTJ.
    He seems to fit it more than ISTJ.
    Christina seems to fit ESTP pretty well ... I never typed her when reading the books.

    INTJ - The Scientists

    Tris is an INTJ. She's very analytical and reserved, but also posses a air of independence. Remember that she has an aptitude for Erudite and Dauntless. The only thing that confuses me is that she got Abnegation instead of Candor.

    INFP - The Idealists

    Okay here's my take.

    Abnegation=Fe Si or Si Fe. SFJ's. Being Fe dom or aux will in most cases, make you very selfless.

    Erudite=The thinking types(ESPECIALLY the intuitive thinking types) NTJ's, NTP's, STJ's, STP's

    Dauntless=Extraverted Sensing types(especially ESFP's)

    Amity=Introverted feeling types(especially Fi dominant types) INFP's and ISFP's.

    Candor=sensing/thinking types(especially extraverted sensing thinkers)

    Divergents=NF's(Especially introverted NF's, and ESPECIALLY INFJ's)

    Factionless=I'm sorry to say this, but based off what i see in this world, it's usually the ISFP's who fall into this category.

    Book Tris is an ISFP. Highly emotional, but rarely shows it and hardly ever confides in anyone else (Fi); she enjoys reckless things and is very much in the moment -- spontaneous and quick to act (Se). A little bit of internal vision (Ni) but not much. She shows Te in her commitment to following through the plans she sets in motion.

    ISFJ - The Nurturers

    Abnegation: Fe and Fi (xSFJ and xNFP)
    Amity: Fe and Fi (xxFP and xxFJ)
    Candor: Se and Te (xSTP and xxTJ)
    Erudite: Ti and Ni (xNTP and xNTJ)
    Dauntless: Se and Ne (ESxP and ENxP)

    First listed commonly found functions in each faction, then types most commonly found in each faction.

    Stereotypical Faction Types:
    Abnegation: ISFJ
    Amity: ISFP
    Candor: ESTJ
    Erudite: INTP
    Dauntless: ESTP

    INFJ - The Protectors

    I haven't read the book yet, but here's my opinion based on the movie:
    Tris: ISFP
    Four: ISFJ, pretty sure he uses Fe.
    Caleb: INFJ?
    Christina: ESTP
    Jeanine: ESTJ
