i always thought of kanye as an ISFJ-turned-ENTP after his mother passed. ENTPs can laugh at themselves and usually know when they're being ridiculous... but i think he genuinely believes the shit he says. he's always putting his opinions and intentions on loudspeaker. it's entertaining, but more like an extremely unhealthy ISFJ than a healthy ENTP.
rest assured both jay-z and bey are gamma types.
one of my favourite lyrics by him is "i sold kilos of coke, i'm guessing i could cell cds. i'm not a businessman. i'm a business, man." he markets himself, not his music. i'm not saying he's not into hip hop because i'm sure he is... to an extent... not really though... it's merely a means to end. he's out here to make money, to gain status, to live luxuriously. it doesn't matter what he's selling. nas is an INFP and as sweet as i think jay's music is i will always be on team nas because jay-z is a two-faced, money-grubbing scumbag... who makes fantastic tunes. fuck.
i reckon most of what nas wrote here is true. so i'm thinking either INTp or ENTj for jay. there's so many more reasons why i think so but i'm getting so lazy. i always found this quote comparing nas and jay-z pretty neat though: “Jay-Z is fun. Jay-Z goes to yacht parties. Nas is invited, but he spends the party wondering how much the champagne cost and the level of corruption that afforded everyone the opportunity to enjoy such luxuries.”
so yeah, i'm curious to know how yeezy and jay work but when it comes down to who they are as people, which is what really matters, i don't like them. bey is probably an ISFp.
nas is my boy forever. a quote about nas from the same article:
"But behind the aviator lenses, they couldn’t have been any more different. Nas was God’s son, the child prodigy blessed by Rakim and told to protect the temple armed with only a pen, a pad, and a 40. His debut dynamited the East Coast then amidst a cyclical search for a savior. The Source gave it 5 Mics; it’s widely called the best rap album ever and every one of his albums since has had to unfairly grapple with post-Illmatic stress syndrome. Nas is aloof, cerebral, opinionated, and he’s never been comfortable with fame, money, or catering to radio programmers. He was too good, too soon, to ever truly give a fuck."
my fucking boy
