    aging: first symptoms rising.

for those of us ahead on the curve (or maybe just can't the hang of health), how old are you and what are your early symptoms of aging?

    for me:

    27

for the last 3 years i have being pulling out the occasional gray hair, but lately they are spreading all around and i've just given up: i am going to be a silverhead before i'm 30, and i have only now made my peace with it.

also, sometimes in sex i'll get leg cramps, ranging from mild to so bad my face looks like i'm already cumming.

and.. in the last few years i had to start cutting my nose hairs, i admit it (hides in shame)... its disgusting but its more disgusting if i don't.

I'm 29. A lot of days, I wake up with a a sore lower back, and I have various little aches and pains every now and then. I just got let go from my temp assignment, so I have a little while to rest up and relax. Being decrepit isn't necessarily a inevitability of aging, so I'm trying out some nutritional supplements to help repair and rejuvenate my body to a healthier state.

I will also be getting back into working out, with kettlebells primarily.

I'm developing laugh lines. They're very subtle, but I see 'em. This disturbs me, because I didn't look like that a year ago. The first of many, I guess.

    I'm 28.

Wow, Gen Y are starting to age. So all those magic potions didn't work after all!

Oh yeah. I also came down with a thyroid infection last year, which ko'd my thyroid for a time (I can still feel it to this day). It's only supposed to affect middle aged women.

So dammit. I guess I'm middle aged now.

    My first signs of aging:
    - I'm more sensitive to caffeine intake after 4 p.m. now, so if I drink coffee or soda after this hour, I won't likely fall asleep so easily, and my dreams will be wild.
    - I make slight grunting noises when I have to extend my body and reach for things (omg, help!).

Some people have warned me that my fast metabolism will vanish one day, virtually overnight, as I age. Not too sure if that's happened just yet, and I'm testing it out. So far, so good though. But I really think I need to start working out because I don't want to turn into a blob. Shit, aging sucks.

The first sign I was getting old was at 29 when someone called me a milf!

    I wasn't impressed!

    LOL!!!

Seriously though, I'm 29 and I second the OP on the grays. they're not widespread yet, but there's this area they've congregated in on the right side of my head. It's not like a TON of them. I think the most I've counted at one time is like 10 (and yes I sometimes pull them out), but it's annoying because my hair is so dark, and they are like BRIGHT silver.

Also my knees creak and hurt when I try to get up from squatting, stuff like that.

My knees have been creaky for years, so I don't know if I can count that, but I get greys every now and then. At least I still have my hair, male pattern baldness caught my grandpa before he was 25!

    I'm almost 27.

    I'm 39. I haven't noticed anything different yet.

(Oops, I appear to be in the wrong age bracket... sorry)
