    Slime

I had the kind of Slime with worms in it. It was so cool and I remember it tasted like salt (Not supposed to eat it). I can't find a picture of the kind of Slime I had with worms in it. I think it was purple. But yeah-WAY better than Silly Putty.

Did anyone own the kind of Slime with worms? Do they still make it? Or was it another one of those toys that we found out latter made kids have cerebral hemorrhages?

I vaguely remember that. I distinctly remember the green slime from "You Can't Do That on Television".

I remember slime! My brother and I used to think it was the coolest thing. My grandpa wouldn't allow it in his house because he said germs stuck to it when it touched things. We would get little plastic bubbles of off-brand slime from the twenty-five cent machines at the bowling alley, because we couldn't afford the real thing.

Yay!!!!!!!! This makes me so happy!!! Lol *Happy Dance* Someone knows what I am talking about !!!!

Yes, I was hardcore into Slime so I had to get it's offshoot: Purple Slime with worms! This is sooo representative of how I did everything in life. I like a band: own every album, all it's imports/ export recordings, and every single piece of memorabilia.

    Imma nerd.

Slime completely ROCKED!!! I mostly remember the original, though there have been many offshots since ("ectoplasm", "brains" etc).

My kids are now into "Gak" - they made it from glue and borax at school. While slightly different then slime (a bit more rubbery and less gooey), it's totally cool and can be made in any color of your choosing.

Careful knocking the putty though. It definitely is a classic and commands some respect of it's own. I put it in a class between slime and Play Dough. (:

Totally remember Slime. In school one year, our choir made up a version of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" using toys instead of the usual gifts and right in the middle was "Five Cans of Slime!" can't remember the rest of it, but I'll never for get singing about Slime =)

My kids are into Gak and Silly Putty and have made something similar to slime, but it wasn't quite the right consistency of the old stuff.

Yeah, I had the slime with worms. I know I wanted the slime, but I don't remember specifically wanted the Slime with worms. I do have memories of bringing my slime with worms to my child psychiatrist and showing it to him and having to explain what it was and why I liked it. Both of my answers? "It's Slime!"
