How do you know if your third eye is open?

Even as strong as sensor I am, I have always been deeply intuitive, I can predict something and about 70%-80% of the time I'm right, a lot of times I catch myself thinking of humankind and its destiny. Deja Vu happens to me literally every day. Not to mention I'm skilled at writing. This is why when I first joined the forums I was confused about my S or N. A few thing about my personality that doesn't match N, like how usually don't have a tendency to forget small things (I remember practically everything, and I'm hardly exaggerating), and I focus on details rather than the "big picture."

And ever since I was in Elementary School, I've noticed I'm just different from other people, like my whole thought process is totally unique. It's hard to explain. I've known about the third eye ever since I started paying a lot of attention to the lyrics of certain Tool songs (maybe around early middle school), I understood the basic concept of it, but I have only researched it recently.

So, how exactly are you supposed to know if your third eye/pineal gland is open/activated?

Dammit, you're just like me! I usually don't talk about this stuff, but that's crazy. I think we're just at the awakening stage though. I know a guy who is really good at predicting things, and barely needs to speak to communicate. And this guy says his sixth sense is weak. So... we'll have to try to "spiral out", see how far we can go! :D

I don't know if I am like you though, I mean ESTP is probably the last type that would have his third eye opened. Especially considering how young I am.. (right now I'm at my 2nd year in high school)

    Honestly, I'm confused.

Actually, I thought "Huh. ESTP? Seriously?" when I first saw this thread. And I'm actually in 8th grade, so I don't know about the age thing. I meant the strong intuition, crazy deja vu, those deep thoughts (which might be normal for an INFP) and contemplating the badass works of MJK. Although, I tend to look at things on a bigger scale, that's the only difference.
I often find myself questioning the accuracy of the MBTI, since you seem nothing like an ESTP to me. At all.

Oh, if only you knew me IRL. I only act differently on here simply because of the anonymity. Honestly, I'm an awful person, I "lie, cheat and steal." I take advantage of people. I know its definitely not the right thing to do, but hey, whatever gets me farther in life.

Ah, so you are ESTP. I guess we are completely different. :D
Anyway, we do both seem to be peeking through our third eyes.

I'm a Sensor, but I am quite Intuitive as well. I experience deja vu quite a lot. It usually comes in the form of dreams or flashes. My dreams are pretty accurate. Some people just dream about the place. I started out dreaming about the place only, but now, it seems as though I've branched out to the actual situation and even the people involved! A few weeks ago, I had to go to this clubhouse. I'd never been there before in my life. But a week ago, I'd had a dream about that very place, why I was there and who was present. It was exactly like my dream. Sometimes I have flashes of things that I would do. I had a "flash" that I would leave my bag in a cafe that I was at. Sure enough, I did leave my bag there.

But I wouldn't say my third eye is opened or anything. Sometimes, when I go to a place with my friends, everyone would say that they have a weird feeling about it. But I wouldn't feel anything.

I have no idea how to tell, until you know. Deja Vu is a good signal, things happening how you dreamed they would another great signal. These things happen to me kind of a lot. Interestingly, my boyfriend (INTJ) sees the patterns in our world, often pointing them out in a third eye sort of way. For example we will discuss something, then within moments that object, song, or referenced item will appear on television, the radio, or in person. It's an interesting topic to consider.

What I'd really love to know is how to open that third eye at will.

    It's hard to say.

Poke your forehead, does it hurt? If so it's probably open.

In all seriousness, If you find yourself experiencing premonitions in various forms like "just knowing" something, deja vu, and dreams becoming reality than in all likelyhood your third eye is open at least a little.

How do you open it at will? Well that really depends on how able you are to accept "new age" things like oil anointing and visualization heavy meditation.
