    The ESTJ secret to productivity...

    Music! :)

I don't understand people who can work or study without it. Post music that helps you work or study here, or state the type that aids productivity, or explain why you require silence.

I just can't do anything with vocals. I just need music, not words conflicting with what I'm reading, writing, etc.

Here's a few I crank up a lot (you need headphones to hear it optimally for some of them)

Can't get enough of this song, but I have to watch myself otherwise it causes me to daydream. lol

    yes, I like this artist...hah

This song gets me dangerously into daydream mode too. I keep thinking of a flock of vicious raccoons chasing me in a car for yanking a fried chicken drumstick out the leader's paw. o_o

Very ESTJ sounding, isn't it? Sounds like a dominatrix dragging a sub into a dungeon. ;)

I can't work or study with music. What happens is I start focusing on the lyrics, rhythm, melody, and feeling of the song. All of those things then start to interfere with what I was doing. There was even one time where I was writing an essay and listening to a song that I loved at the time. All of a sudden, I blinked and realized I had typed out an entire paragraph just of the song's lyrics. This probably comes from me being a horrible multi-tasker, but listening to music definitely does not help things.

(I had to stop writing this message so I could pay attention to your songs) I liked Emancipator.

Haha, I definitely felt dungeon vibes from that song. Is this what the ESTJ version of Romeo and Juliet would be like?

LOL. See, music gets me into a constant rhythm. My ears get used to it. Whereas without it, I'd be constantly distracted by random outside noise/chaos. Even if I study at home in silence, I'll hear a random creak and get paranoid about there being rodents or a killer in my closet. lol

hell yeah, it'd be like "I fancy you, you fancy me, fuck the poetry man, let's get busy." :D
