Make sandwiches and look pretty.
Cooking a 7 course meal for your husband and children while wearing 6 inch heals, an expense dress, and wearing a string of pearls.
Uh not.
It means putting in twice as much effort in many cases, just to be treated equally. It means having to look good -while- being good at what I'm doing, to be taken seriously.
The opposite of everything in the 'Be A Man' Thread.
Or at least that's what I've been led to believe.
In all honesty. It seems to mean 'Look pretty otherwise you're not going to get anywhere, no matter how competent you are.'
I was going to say something witty, but I broke a nail and got pregnant on my way in.
Yes.
This entire thing screams, "STEREOTYPICAL." Apparently, women are all about calorie-counting, bikinis, and finding the perfect man. OH NO, not the hairdresser!![]()
It's silly how the whole series is a ploy to get women to buy low-calorie snacks.
