What would you disinvent?

In terms of "uninventing things", do you mean just disappearing them from earth now, or going back into history and stopping them from ever being invented?

I think I'd disinvent anything which was invented to promote division between people. So, religion (once it stopped just being about controlling the weather), race and psychiatry. Race is particularly nasty. Remove that (and don't imagine for a moment it is anything but a made up construct) and we'd have a shot at being human.

tv. basically an advertisement machine(couldnt think of anything more clever). sort of like the inverse of a comment made about nuclear fussion(meaning more "good"has come from nuc fuss, the same way more "bad" from tv). the main problem is that people(in general) tend to believe too much of what they hear and even more of what they see. tv (unless your blind and or deaf, and yes both groups "watch and listen" to tv) therefore is the best medium to propagate any version of "truth" your willing to pay for. i do watch tv, but its "nutritional "value goes from potatoe chips to tobacco products, both arent good but there is a difference

i agree on a superficial level that religion is a problem, but i think its more complicated. i think religion is similar to alcohol at some sort of function. if everyone knows there limits and remains civil, hey have at it; but on the other hand people over do it and ruin it for the "whole world"(sort of speak) then problems arise. but religion seems to bring out "something" in everyone the same way alcohol does. dont blame the gun, the booze, the pornography, etc its the individual. so an argument can be made that the individual is inherently "wrong" and given anything that may expose his inherent malfuntions woudl be seen as overall a "bad". i have no solution, unless building the matrix is an option, but still there is a thing called "freewill". once again no solution(beyond human capabilities)

btw im not a fan of the way religion is "needed" or practiced
