Have you ever been on a gameshow, or at least, on tv?

I have friends that have been in the audience on the Conan show now that it is in L.A. Also my friends sister is a or was a weather girl for some news team in san diego. My friend was on the news once when USC opened up a new scientific research center that he was a part of.

I was on a program called 50 minutes as a student they showed my face but only for ten seconds my family watched the whole show for that one moment

A local version of Jeopardy. Does that still exist in the US?

They still run episodes here but I don't know if they are new or reruns.

My dad was on the news a few weeks ago. No-one has recognised him out and about while I've been with him though.

My dad was on Shop 'Til You Drop in the early 90s! We have it on VHS tape. He wasn't a contestant, but was like one of a few people that used different kinds of shampoo and somehow that was an important thing. I don't remember exactly how it worked, but I thought it was the coolest thing when I was a kid.
