    Where would you time-travel to?

If time travel to the past was possible, would you take the opportunity?
To what time would you travel?

Assume the many-worlds theory is true, meaning each time-traveler arrives in a past unblemished by previous travelers. Assume your actions will not have consequences on your own time once you return.

I'd go back to the early 1990's and go 'shrooming with Bill Hicks. Then go to the 1970's and do some decent acid in a botanical garden laying/sitting under a tree. Followed by skipping back a few years to see hendrix at the monterey festival.
Then I'd go back to the time of the dinosaurs and see if ..well ...you....know... but only for a minute I'd be shit scared.
Then go back to the time of the first writing of the bible and sit in the room.. you know adding my 2cents, asking questions.

Anywhere in 19th century Europe, preferably during a time of great invention. I'd love to see such things in action, if only on the micro scale.

1960's would be my first stop, but I'd also like to go much much farther back to Ancient Greece just as Alexander the Great was taking over the world.

I would go back to the Jurassic Era and warn the dinosaurs of the asteroid that will impact earth. We will build a large catapult big enough to hurl a giant rock out of earths atmosphere onto the oncoming asteroid which will in turn deflect it and change its trajectory. That way dinosaurs will still rule the earth and I can finally achieve my dream of sliding on top of an Apatosaurus head down to its tail. Yippeeeeee!!

Ancient Egypt. Because I really just love Egypt, I have had a fascination since early childhood with their culture.

I would go to various parts of the past 100 years to meet ancestors of mine who died in the couple of decades before I was born, then 500 years into the future to see how the world has progressed, including what countries/languages/political systems still exist. Then I would go back about 600 years to see what used to be where my house is now (most likely a farm of some sort).

This is totally what I would do. I would like to see great minds of the past at work. I would also like to watch the ancient chinese, indian and arab scholars do their stuff.
Oh and the greek philosophers. Possibly stop Socrates on the street for a chat.
Then - quick visits to Galileo, Newton etc, finishing up in the 1900's with Einstein and the early quantum physicists as they make their discoveries.

Psht, the title is totally wrong. It should not be "Where would you travel to", but "When would you travel to"

However, I'll gladly skip out on that. Unless I can come back again after a bit. Then I'd probably go and see the Middle Ages. Just for fun. The chicks' clothes and all back then...very nice. *chuckle*
