Prayer Requests

I believe in the power of prayer, and I'm sure there are others here with the same belief. I want this thread to be used for when people need prayer whether the request be big or small.

NOTICE: This thread is not meant for debates. If you don't pray, then please don't start arguing about your thoughts and opinions on the subject. If you want to start another thread about thoughts and opinions on prayer then do that, please. This is not the place for that.

I believe in the concept of prayer, but sometimes I have a hard time with the term "prayer" itself because it immediately connotes religion in my mind, but that's a personal 'hang up.'

Still, that said, all and all I do "pray," self-defined as putting positive thoughts/affirmations into the world and asking a power 'greater than myself' for guidance, and believe in its power.

Since it won't let me edit... I want those of us who do pray to unite as one voice in support of our friends here on PerC.

Okay - I'm not a religious person at all, but I have a friend whose grandson could really use good thoughts/prayers/whatever you want to call it.

Her grandson is 8 months old and has retinoblastoma (eye cancer). They just found out about 2 weeks ago and he had his first chemo treatment yesterday. He may lose the affected eye. It is heartbreaking that such a young child is going through something so terrible...so if any of you want to put some good thoughts and prayers out there for him, that would be really nice.
