    Perceiver or Judger ?

    “When they him spy,
As russet-pated choughs, many in sort,
Rising and cawing at the gun’s report,
Sever themselves and madly sweep the sky,
So at his sight, away his fellows fly.”

    [A Midsummer Night’s Dream – III, 2]
    The Birds of Shakespeare: Chough

As a judger or perceiver, do you have any problem with pronounciation with the above? It is automatic or is there a Questor NP query?

(This sort of thing is a perennial P problem. There may be better examples?)

How would Billy Shakes have pronounced Chough?

No idea. Maybe it rhymes with go?

Well, I made it up as I went along when I was reading it (although I did think about which pronunciation was most likely), but then I looked it up mainly because you asked the question. It's pronounced chuff.
