So its all over the news lately that 1 in 5 people in the UK will make it to 100, some over 110!
So my question is; would you WANT to live to that age?

Of course I'd want to live to that age. Too bad I'm not in the UK.

Depends what kind of old person I am. If I ended up being one of those awesome old people who are running marathons
and still mostly independent, then sure. But if I'd just be stuck in some nursing home or hospital being fed some sort of
weird green plasma through a tube... Then I'd pass up on it.
Stats don't look quite so hot for Canada though.
I think it would be cool to live to around 110 just to live through a whole century to see how things evolve.
I'd be cool with passing away in my early 80's. If I make it into my 60's though I'll be satisfied, early 70's is more than enough.
edit: so yeah, if I live into my 70's I think I can accomplish all I want to accomplish.
I wouldn't want to live to be 50. . .
I would love to live to 100, just so I can moan at people because I am old its acceptable to moan.
Of course I would, provided I still have enough energy and mental capacity. I don't want to live longer for the sake of living longer if I can't be self-sufficient.
I'm not sure. It's not much of a concern, I don't think any of the females on my maternal side have ever made it past 60 and the paternal side isn't much better.
