What is your color season? Spring, summer, autumn, winter? FUN! :)

Color seasons are my new obsession since human coloring is just one of those things that fascinates me. Depending on the tone of your skin and hair and eye color, you are a certain color season, like Dark Autumn, Cool Winter, Light Spring, etc, and if you wear the colors in the palette designated for your season, you will look absolutely amazing every day.

I am a Soft Summer because I have coloring similar to Keri Russell and Jennifer Aniston, and soft, cool colors look best on me.

So what's your season? To initially narrow it down, Springs and Autumns have warm skin undertones (veins look green) and Winters and Summers have cool skin undertones (veins look blue). If everything about your coloring is cool with no yellow or red you are a cool season, either a Cool Winter or Cool Summer. If you have warm skin, eyes and hair you are a warm season, either a Warm Autumn or Warm Spring. You're a clear season if your eyes are very bright and have a sparkling, jewel-like quality to them. You're a light season if everything about your coloring is extremely light and delicate-looking. You're a soft season if everything is very soft and blended and mid-tone and nothing really stands out. You're a dark season if the darkness of your features that are your most noticeable quality. The most important thing to do is to stand back and figure out your most predominant quality: soft, clear, warm, cool, dark or light. There are various tests you can take online, and you can actually get your colors professionally analyzed by a color analyst, but the charts I've attached below are a good overview of the seasons.

Amazin! And I'm a Deep Winter, if anyone wonder.

I think I could be light summer. I've only ever heard of the colours where there are 4, one for each season.

Have a look at my profile photo and tell me what you think. Just bear in mind that I cover my rosy cheeks with foundation.

Why do none of the seasons combine grey or grey-blue eyes with red/auburn hair? Whatever the case, I seem to gravitate towards wearing "warm-autumn" colours.

EDIT: On second inspection, I'm more of a Soft Autumn. Fascinating!

I suppose I'm a Clear Spring, going by the charts and the colour of my hair, eyes and skin.

kiwigrl, yeah, color analysts increased the seasons to 12 sometime in the 90's, I think, when they decided that the 4-season system wasn't specific enough because it didn't account for people who were more neutral looking, rather than totally cool or warm.

I think light summer seems perfect for you!

I'm a deep winter. I love the color charts. I usually keep one around, they're useful to have.

This is so neat! I'm definitely a soft spring both because of my coloring and because Cameron Diaz/Gwyneth Paltrow are my celebrity twins.

I guess I'd be a clear winter or a deep winter. I'm leaning towards deep winter because I have brown eyes and didn't see brown listed as an eye color under clear winter. The palettes for both these types most closely match the colors of clothes I've worn that I've been complimented on and make me feel god.

I had my colors analyzed a long time ago and it was determined I was a winter but they didn't further specify what type of winter.

Warm Autumn, but salmon is not a flattering colour on me. I'll stick to my green and blue scheme <3
