halloween costumes!

so my favorite holiday is fast approaching, and I looooove planning my costumes and hearing about everyone else's! I know we're all obviously past the age of trick-or-treating, but I don't think I'll ever stop dressing up for halloween...

since I'm in college, it's a two-day affair. I'm going as Hermione the first night, and Ke$ha the second. personally I am more excited about the latter, since I have been Hermione before, and Ke$ha is basically my alter ego, soooo...

I am also planning to go out trick-or-treating, free candy is always nice. I've studied german for a couple of years, so I'm sure I'll do a pretty good imitation to win the candy giver's hearts.

I was considering re-doing my sparkly vampire costume from last year, but the body glitter took forever to wash off, so yeah. :| Maybe not. If I don't glitter it up again, I'll probably go with... actually that depends on who I go with. If I can get my college friends to man up and go trick-or-treating with me, I'm going to try to convince them to do a Scooby Gang group. \o/ THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME AJSLKSJD. If not for Halloween then we ARE doing that for a con at some point I mean come on it would be beautiful. If I'm stuck on my own or if my friends don't want to have awesome mystery-solving adventures, I'll probably be Pyramid Head; if I'm going with my tiny cousins instead of my friends, I'll be something kind of... bland and bought-this-off-the-rack-at-Walgreens-ish.

Hahaha that's my main concern with my ke$ha costume. I'm planning on glittering up (a la my avatar) as well as putting it in my hair, all over my arms, etc... my roommates were making fun of me saying they hoped I wasn't planning on hooking up with anyone because they'd walk out of my bedroom looking like a pixie.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, also. I wish it could last longer. I just love the feel and also the history/origins of many of the traditions.

Anyway, my parents are too cheap to pay for a costume for me. I'm just doing what I do every year: I'm gonna put a bunch of fake scars on. I want to put a realistic looking gash on my neck...and probably on some others parts of my body.
