What's the best thing that's ever happened to you?

And what about it made it the best thing ever?

Being born doesn't count, because I feel as if everyone could auto default to that answer.

I need more time to think of mine, personally.

    Good luck to you all.

Life!!! foremost! I know I wasn't suppose to say that but, I had too! 2nd God! and, that may tie into the whole life thing but, God has always been there for me. Not in the way that some christian's view God "the what am I gonna get? syndrome or the what is God gonna give me?" No, but, I have had some major hurdles in my life esp. when I was a child and, I can remember looking at the sky when everything in my world was wrong. I just knew someone was there. Carrying me. I may have been 7 and, I didn't know anything about God or church or anything. But, I did know that someone was there and would help protect me. And, that someone did. Was my life easier? yes in ways but, I had to go through the bad to get to the good. Last year I had heart failure due to some meds and I swear I seen God and his light. The science channel proclaims "the white light experience is caused by the brain not getting enough oxygen" If thats the case then I hope we all get to feel that warmth and presence before we die. 3rd, I am thankful for my Children! I can't express in words what they mean to me!!

    Possibly: being adopted.

I'm not touchin' that god thing, at least in this thread. *recalls that post by someone about satan*

Anyhow. After pondering. I'm thinkin' the best thing that's ever happened to me is my family, as well as this ISFP I reference a lot here.

Those are just the people that exist that I would give the most credit to helping me become who I am. I've learned a lot from all of them throughout life ABOUT life. I can't even find the right words to describe why they're the best thing, but they are.

It's funny, because I don't even like most of them that much. Haha. Like at all. Especially that ISFP. I could almost just as easily classify him as the worst thing...

I don't know what was the best thing that ever happened to me. Appart from the cliche of just being alive, nothing comes to mind.

It's similar to my thoughts in response to the best kiss thread really, when I think about it like this everything just seems bland and trivial.

I was born, I exist, one day I will die.. So the best thing that ever happened to me is still undergoing.

For something smaller, I will be a father soon.

Congratulations to you in that case.

For me...a lot of good things happened and a lot of more are still GOING to happen, but so far: finding out about MBTI. Because this is also when I found true, loyal friends and a lot of other things that went with it. Ah, horray for good things that happen and bring a whole bunch of chainreactions with them.

    *Recalling his post on Satanism...*

Oh hey guys...yeah the best thing thats probably ever happened to me is when i tried in the contest where you stand at center ice and try to shoot the puck thru the puck-sized hole at the bottom of the net, i won and was walking home from school carrying big bags of money......oh wait, that was in a dream, son of a bi***!!

Guess id have to say when i realized i no longer had to follow a religion/god or what other people thought in order to get by in my own life.

Meeting my wife and getting married. Life has changed significantly for the better since then as I've made progression on all the fronts that matter to me.
