Personally, I think that restrictions on it are silly, because it is a useful natural remedy for sleep disorders, nightmares, and anxiety problems when used in small doses. It seems that the main reasons it is illegal to use it where I live have more to do with making pharmaceutical corporations rich than with making sure people are safe and healthy. What do you think? |

I think it should be legal, but certain health restrictions should be maintained i.e. those diagnosed with a mental illness history like schizophrenia should be restricted from use. This only aggravates the disorder. |

Yes, certain people who do not benefit from using it should be kept from endangering themselves. I agree. I wouldn't limit all mentally ill people from using it, because some of its most valuable applications involve the treatment of certain mental illnesses. I would recommend being very selective about which kinds of mental illness would cause a person to be restricted from using it. |

Never cared to busy myself with it (only seeing others using it), as i did with all drugs (except books, as i like to say ;)). So i actually have no real opinion on it.

Also, when underground economies are revealed, we should be able to make better judgments about the economy. |

What do you think? | My mom is a nurse and says that there are a wide array of drugs to treat these issues just, if not more, effectively than marijuanna. The whole medicinal thing is a new argument and I would love to see some evidence to support it. I believe a fairly rare disease involving a lot of pain is the only one where M is proven most effective.
If you think M is a cheap alternative to expensive drugs, just wait until it (or some difficult to produce equivalent) becomes legal and pharmaceutical companies charge for it :P
I think the medicinal argument is bogus. On the other hand, places like bars should definitly be able to obtain a M license. I wouldn't have a problem as long as that crap isn't blown in my face as much as cigarettes are. Quote:

Also, I don't see how it is less harmful than alcohol. The harms of alcohol have been endlessly explored, such as drunk diving and domestic abuse but I see no exception from these issues for pot heads. |
