Default Things that make me not value your input

1. Inability to detect non-serious statements or sarcasm
2. Determination toward taking every single thing ever said negatively, and or the inability to laugh off criticisms
3. No understanding of irony
4. Having an emo stab at the whole big bad world and not being able to take a poke back
5. Caring too much about being judged
6. Assuming you know what my motives are
7. Disagreeing with me in any way, I totally can't take it
8. Laughing at me. I'm too fragile to take that kind of psychological warfare
9. Crying
10. Monobrows
11. Putting words in others' mouths/ miscontruing everything like it's a chronic herroin addiction
12. Bad avatars
13. Correcting other peoples typos, etc, continuously
14. Crying to mamma when a joke is at your expense. (That's totally LOLZ)
15. Other reasons I'm yet to determine
16. Rejecting my marriage proposals
17. Retaliating with someone elses words because you were too scared/lazy/unoriginal to come up with your own foitin' words
18. Refusing to particpate in online rave parties
19. If I've never seen you be amused by a funny post or funny comment
20. Touting your opinions like you're the voice of 'the people' (unless you actually are, in which case please state the names of the people you a repping)
21. Undue fear of backlash
22. Assuming you've learned the cause and all possible solutions to situations (real or imagined) within 2 seconds of learning about them

Thanks to those who cut me to the quick. I just don't know how I can go on knowing that there are people who've never actually spoken to me, disliking me. Man, life is so awful. How does anyone make it through a day?

Did I just totally cross the line again? - Man, this social stuff is hard. In any case, do tell me. I love to hear it. Maybe write your own list about peeves relating to peoples; gerbals; unsightly tan lines; anything, or a cutting retort list in response to mine. Really, nothing much else is doing right now anyway. I promise I will be personally offended for you if you get into trouble for what you say here. Freedom of speech and all that. (Also, surely it's not a personal attack if the attackee really doesn't seem to mind, right?)

Well, much love, peace, and harmony to everyone. Even if you're socially retarded -you could learn smoething from me on overcoming that point. Take notes.

Will the people that despise me so, still view, and perhaps write in my awful thread?

If I changed my name to NigelNoFriends, would I win your sympathy?

Sometimes the sky rains fish. That's weird.

I don't hate you. I just think you might be bipolar.
...and I'm not a fan of sarcasm or personally-directed negativity, in general. I have gotten more complaints about you since the last time we spoke, mostly about the same few threads. It isn't that there is one person who considers your humor (or whatever it is) offensive, but it seems like the unhappy majority feels this way.

I hope you don't think I am being critical. I like half of your personality. It's just the trollish shadow that causes the problems.

Things that make me not value your input:
1. sarcasm
2. a harsh tone
3. a critical attitude
4. hypocrisy
5. being insensitive or tactlessly judgmental
6. expecting others to be able to read your mind, then getting upset when we are wrong
7. closed-mindedness
8. people who dish out more than they can take
9. anyone who would consider crying offensive
10. superficiality
11. nonsensical analogies
12. relentless attacks after the bullied individual has requested mercy
13. ...okay, I actually agree on the nit-picking about typos thing.
14. making jokes at someone else's expense, then ridiculing their suffering in an insensitive manner
15. vagueness
16. creepy marriage proposals from eccentric lunatics
17. behaving in a manner designed to make others feel defensive
18. refusing to invite me to online rave parties
19. expecting me to laugh at things that aren't actually funny
20. commenting like you know stuff even when you aren't a newb

*slightly amused*

Yay! It feels like you totally get me! Thank you for your list!

I will always love sarcasm (I use it to be cheeky most of the time, not hateful.)
I almost only ever get harsh when it's in defense of others, if this is not the case, I'm probably doing that awful sarcasm thing again
I do have a critical attitude. I think of most things as either funny or not funny. I have also been known to be critical with people with problems trying to wipe out bystanders (shared suffering???) and aren't actually interested in solutions (stop assuming I mean specific people, eveyone thinks everyone is talking about them. Jeeze.)
I think the hypocrisy thing is probably mostly that sarcasm thing again. I happily expect the same treatment from others as I dish, and I will never have words to say to 'the man' if I don't like the cut of your jibe
I'm insensitive to people who are insensitive to others. Otherwise, I'm probably being... yep, sarcastic again. (No, I won't cease and desist my sarcasm) Also, if I have ended a comment with "Nerr... " or similar, I'm insulted to think people assume that's the extent of my cutting arsenal of word weaponry. I have few talents, but sometimes I actually use real words.
I do expect people to read my mind. Surely someone can. telepathy is real, isn't it?
And... all the rest. Very interesting and I would discuss further but I have time contraints. Anyway, I appreciate your feedback.

To the others that complained... I'm deeply saddened by your trampling of my feelings. I have a right to be an individual and my type is not at all who I am. Is it really my fault that I suck so bad, or yours for paying attention to me? Obviously I have bigger problems than the woeful sob stories you're defending. Sohow about a little sympathy, you heartless monsters?

(By the way Snail, you ARE invited to the raves. You can even flick the light switch on and off)

"11. nonsensical analogies"

But those are so fun. You can always find meaning in one, no matter how non-apparent that meaning may be.

My humourless critical monobrow laughs down upon this thread in ridicule.

Ofcourse. Obviously we'd all have to take turns, because light switch flicker is a covetted position, but you'd get your turn.

I don't know. I think there's so many people out there, at least in a forum, everyone is fighting for attention, and chances are you will be ignored unless you can do a little dance or appeal to that person.

So even if I follow your 22-step-process-of-making-you-value-my-input, I'm likely to still be boring to you and I'm not sure what I think about that. Just gotta live with it, I guess!

Those two seem like they could be due to a lack of writing ability. One doesn't have to be eloquent to make a good point. I agree though, cohesion and a bit of panache really ramps up the post quality.

I should follow my own advice.
