My favorite ted video is called 'willie smits restores a rainforest' i'd link it but i can't til i have 10 posts (you can search it most likely), if you get the chance to watch it you should... It's mind blowing.

If I remember correctly their is a prototype pair of sunglasses that are supposed to do much of the same as the device in this demonstration. The key difference is that they actually have a working prototype and the glasses was just a concept.

I am torn though, as it seems that the more we depend on technology, the less we have to think for ourselves. I still think it is a neat device, but I do wonder when our pda controls our life more then we do.
