This is a thread where you ask a question to anyone in particular and the next poster answers it and then asks another question.

Only one rule: No simple answers, this means no yes or no answers. If you want to ask a two part question as long as it's related than I think that would be fine. So lets see how it goes.

No. I don't even think monkeys are cute, except for the really tiny ones that don't look like people. I would not have sex with Curious George no matter how curious I got.

What is the one thing you currently believe that you would be most disappointed to learn was not true, and why?

that I am not nearly as awesome as I believe I am...

No seriously though I think I would be very disappointed to learn there was a God because then I feel like I couldn't accept it and my chances of making it to heaven would be non-existent. Basically i'm saying I believe there is no God, and finding out otherwise would be devastating.

If you had the power to decide peoples fates would you consider it a blessing or a curse and why?

I would consider it a curse, because if anything went wrong, it would be completely my responsibility, and all injustices would be my moral burden. I'm not perfect enough to do a good job of it.

My question:

If you had a love potion that would make anyone you want fall madly in love with you for the rest of his or her life, would you use it? Why or why not?

I might but not in the way that I would want to be romantically involved with that person. Mainly I would use it as a means to gain access to higher levels of government and other areas.

as for the whole god thing, I just have issues believing in a benevolent and loving god with the things I've seen.


If you had to kill another person who has done nothing wrong to save several people you cared about would you be willing to do it and why or why not?

I could never kill another person - especially an innocent person. If it meant the lives of my loved ones, I would kill myself before taking the life of somebody else.


If you saw two people - an elderly woman and a small child - drowning on opposite sides of a swimming pool, and you only had seconds to get to one of them, which would you go to and try to save? Why?

How can you compare the weight of two people? Which ever was closer for me to save more readily, I would save. Because at least then, I would know they we're closer than the other...on purpose. I could rationalize someone dying on my account by saying the other rescue was meant to be by some wishful, omniscient force.

Have you ever felt singled out metaphysically? Have you ever felt so detached from others and their shared energy that you believed everything you see is a lie? Not a literal one, but that reality is all in your head, every last fragment of it? If so, does this scare you?

I can't. That was a question my ex used to ask me all the time, and I never could quite answer it - so I was just curious as to what others would do in that situation.

No, I can't say I have ever felt that way; but perhaps I have, and just didn't realize it? Or don't remember it at the moment? I've always felt pretty in-sync with people and my surroundings.

Question: If you were told to pick only one type of climate to live in for the rest of your life, what would you pick? Sunny and warm? Rainy all the time? Blizzard cold?

Tropical climate. Warm humid day, rain in the afternoon.
