What do you think about these individuals? I would hesitate to compare them to sci-fi fans who dress up at conventions. There is a line between fantasy and reality, and I don't think they see it.

What do you think about these individuals? I would hesitate to compare them to sci-fi fans who dress up at conventions. There is a line between fantasy and reality, and I don't think they see it.

I am curious as to what they do during halloween, do they take of their costumes or fight other people in costumes?
Well, there are really two sides to this the way I see it. On the one hand, I think they're recklessly endangering themselves and others by taking crime-fighting into their own hands rather than leaving it to trained, armed professionals officially empowered by the government.
On the flip side of that coin, they're also involved in humanitarian efforts, and there's really no reason to object to that. The costumes and glamor are pretty superfluous to that cause, but screw it, do what you do right?
So the question here is, is being really weird and nerdy justified by genuine good intentions? I'm going to fall on the side of yes. Also, I'd like you to start calling me Fusion Boy, the Masked Chemist.
Super heroes are nice, but here are some real heroes:
