that definitely doesn't appeal to me. I can dress myself just fine, thank you.

hopefully if my wife is that controling she will have a better sence of style than me?

I know 2 men who are like this.
And when their wives are mad at them you can tell!

I shall rebel against anyone who tries to dress me by walking around naked for the day.

It's fine if the male recognizes that he has a poor sense of style, and he asks the female for advice.
If the female imposes (or vise versa), then individuality is squelched.

If anything is to be insisted, it should be the formality of dress.

Personally I like this. But my view on it is a little different perhaps. To me it means my significant other is taking an interest in how I look, and wants to take an active role in it. Wants the satisfaction of knowing when I walk out the door I look the way I do because she had a hand in it.

I view it as an act of service, and not something that is being forced on me. In have no fear or insecurity that it reflects an inability to do anything for myself.

For anyone who saw The Last Samurai, to me it is like when the woman put the armor suit on Tom.
