Retarded calling machines versus retarded answering machines.

This is hilarious... yet somehow annoying.

I get these stupid automated calls, some times bill collectors or telemarketing calls. They are often machine calls asking for input.

My answering machine gets them, and the other machine does its thing, like "if you want blahblahblah, please press 1, now" and of course the answering machine does nothing - and my answering machine only allows for a 30 second message at a time so it almost always hangs up and cuts off the other machine and it says "Thank you for your call." which I think is just classic, especially since I am not thankful for stupid machines calling. (this is something that is programmed into the machine itself by default..)

Random, regular people would call my house asking for embroidery service, asking to speak to my service manager, asking if I take VISA. It was the weirdest thing ever, and I never knew exactly why. I always had to keep telling them that it was a residence and not a business.

Have you ever gotten the telemarketer call about the Las Vegas vacation? Those people would leave messages on my answering machine like Las Vegas was my destiny.

I hate my phone.
