Has being in PersonalityCafe helped you?

This is the only forum I ever chat in. I think it's helped me to become a better person in some ways. I'm still pretty opinionated, but it has enabled me to see other people's perspectives. I see similarities and differences that I have with other people. I express myself and say things here that I wouldn't normally say because, chances are, I will never meet any of you people so there's a certain sense of security. I don't really care too much what people think about me in this forum. I don't try to make enemies, but I'm sure I have made a few along the way. Caring less what people think of me online has helped me to care less what people think of me in the real world. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I feel like I have more confidence now. And PC is a great place for introverts to express yourself if you feel inhibited from doing so in your daily life. I get along with pretty much everyone in this forum even if some of you don't think highly of me. Over all, I think PersonalityCafe has been a good thing despite the occasional confrontation.

Yes, Personality Cafe has definitely helped me, a lot actually. I thank you for creating this site, Lance :)

It's helped me mostly to be able to more freely express my feelings and thoughts. Never before have I been able to do that, so it is most definitely a really good feeling. I think this site has also helped me discover a lot more about myself, as well as many others around me. I think I've changed a little since I joined these forums, hopefully for the better, Last of all, it sparked an interest that was always in the back of my head for my whole life: writing. Hooray :)
And yes, Beloved, there is the occasional confrontation here, but I'm sure many of us appreciate you being here. I know I do.

    Nope.
It's nice to play around in here nonetheless.

But, with some seriousness, I can say I think a little bit more about how sensitive some people are.

I've enjoyed my stay, and I like the stimulation of interaction (albeit digital). To say it's helped me is a bit of a stretch, because some issues I have (introvertedness and socialization issues... Not to say that I'm dissatisfied with being introverted) are not eased online, but in real life.

When you want to go swimming in the ocean, you can't read a book about it and be satisfied.

All that being said, I like the café and all my friends here

This place is helping me to get over certain type-based biases relating to traumatic experiences, and the games section is allowing me to overcome some of the paralytic perfectionism that poisons my creativity.

Well said old man, *puffs on pipe and reclines in armchair*
Good show for the site, but if I were to say this place has helped me, I would be exaggerating also. This place has been rather interesting, ironically due to trying to understand you guys.

I would say it's more like your helping us.

Yes. I learned a lot from posting and reading threads. I actually use some of the stuff I learned in real life.

Yes I have enjoyed myself a great deal, a nice change from the heavy subjects I have been dealing with.

i think i am learning how to help myself. this place is just an encouragement when i drop little pieces of struggles or happiness.
it feels good to have someone on the other end of the computer have a nice comment or a touching set of words that relate with your issue or do not at all yet there is an attempt to understand in a kind manner.
yes, i have learned alot about people.
